that tuning techniques to make the sample perfect is that something that should always been done for precision or is it more so just for the 3000. I have the 2000xl and newer mpcs and though by just trimming the dead noise or unwanted part of the sample would still keep the timing, I never paid attention to this.

Sometimes, your loop is slightly not in time and you don't know why. Well, it is for that reason, the blanck you don't hear and you leave before the sample.

@@MISTERMPC muting tracks is like when you stop the samples in the background for a second then play it again go listen to older hip hop 90s songs you will understand what i am saying
@MISTERMPC3 жыл бұрын
@ Michele, I know perfectly what is muting a sound. It's your question I don't understand. What are you asking me? If your question is "How do you mute the sound in your sequence?", the answer is "You do not mute the sound. You erase it from a bar to another bar so it doesn't play".
3 жыл бұрын
@@MISTERMPC how do you record it into the sequence far as the track mutes is what i asked at first
@MISTERMPC3 жыл бұрын
@ Watch or rewatch the tutorial part 2 (Samplestopper). You record the sample into your sequence. When you want to mute it, you use a samplestopper at the bar you wish so the sample stops when you want. You put 1, 2, 3,... bars without it and then you record it afterwards when you want to demute it. That's that easy.

I hate the tap tempo
@MISTERMPC3 жыл бұрын
Why? It is a real gain of time. In 2 taps, you have your BPM. It is usefull when you want to know the bpm of your sample and don't denaturalize it a lot changing a lot its tune. It is thus a good tool. But you can live without it, of course.
3 жыл бұрын
@@MISTERMPC i usually find the tempo through recording it in sequence to see if the loop plays all the way through on
@MISTERMPC3 жыл бұрын
@ I understand but imagine you have a sample playing at 99 bpm (but you don't know it) and your sequence is 95. You'll record your sample and then hear it doesn't fit, you will then tune it to pitch it down and you can denaturalize it (and detune it, the result is that it will play false if you play another live instrument over it). But if you tap the tempo, just by curiosity, you'll find out that your sample is 99 bpm and you can say "Ok, I'll put my sequence at 99 (there is no big difference with 99) so I don't tune my sample and I don't denaturalize it. Do you understand? That is another way of seeing things.
