As an old fart analog musician used to big black backelite rotative dial telephones (which also challenged you when making all that mess out of their cables btw), I humbly admit this is another level of rig mastering 🥳. Thank you for all the time and efforts. Absolutele eye-opener as far as I'm concerned. Belgian Guitar and sax player here. 👍🤘 Count me in.

Seriously awesome video👌 Simple and straightforward getting right into the meat 🍖 of it. Appreciate that!! So many people (maybe or maybe not) over complicate a lot of workflows. Great video. I'm learning. Just got mine today. I have the mk3 so this is a little different when doing patterns and sequences. I'm basically relearning lol. I was lost as fuck. I need to figure out how to just a sound instead of the whole loop. That's my mk3 training so maybe I'm approaching it wrong in the X.

Awesome workflow and inspiration! Thank You! I'll definitely be using these techniques. Right now I'm wanting to use my MPCX for backtracks live, while triggering cv and midi for my eurorack while I play another live synth and sing. I watched your backtrack video. would I be doing anything differently, since I would be sequencing not just backtracks but also midi and cv out all, from my MPCX?

Can you play 2 or more sequences at once in song mode? Eg drums and vocal chops
@PoliPopo3 жыл бұрын
I would put drums on track one program one and then voice chops on the same sequence but on track to and hit the plus so you can add another program so you’ll have two drum program is playing at the same time in one sequence

If you’re using windows go to the search at the bottom of your PC and type expansion expansion builder drag everything in there and you’re good to go 💯 If you’re using Mac go to finder and type in expansion builder let me know if you run into any problems but it’s pretty much drag and drop You just have to title it correctly but yeah the expansion builder

Help how to get a saxophone sound on the mpc x
@PoliPopo2 жыл бұрын
Hmmm for now I would type saxophone in KZbin Hit sample on the Mpc grab one clean note Assign it to a pad on a drum program and hit 16 levels you’ll be able to play 16 different pitches of your sample sound. I would just go ahead phone out of the TV straight into the MPC and sample it I make sample packs but I don’t have any saxophones yet
@PoliPopo2 жыл бұрын
I do have a saxophone laying around if you really do need an 8 second sample I can do that for you but for now I think KZbin would work just fine

@PoliPopo7 ай бұрын
Yeah, audio tracks are a little different instead of muting out each part. You have to go into each sequence And clear regions instead of mute I'll definitely make a video about it ASAP.
