I have the mpcx and this new SE mpcx is cool but akai is truly blow up new keyboard and new drum machine and got timberland with new drum machine aka I is THE BIG BOY ON the block and I wanna rolling with the winners I been down with akai since my mpc3000 and I never would have thought they would blow up like this the akai is everywhere now

It’s just not a complete machine and that’s perfect for this generation just like Mac Book Pros don’t have great sound until you connect a external sound card. But I think that’s what Akai wants ultimately but don’t want to admit because how it would change the perception of the MPC. But it’s a computer! A very good Computer, Music designated device!
