That's what I was curious about - what sample chops you'll make. Every beatmaker from Poland knows these samples but it's the fresh perspective that's so interesting. Have fun and next package is coming with the record I forgot, don't worry, the record will have travel companions ;)
@mpchead2 күн бұрын
A lot of cuts in these records bro, have a lot to chop.

Salute 🫡 Brother Marlow I like the way you do utilize using BPM equal basically playing music 🎵 that sit in the pocket while grooving to the beat. Love always what you bring to the table. Keep doing YOU.!!!! One love.!

As always enjoyed your video, around 9.50 you said you were going to use "velocity to chop" if you could elaborate would be much much appreciated.
@mpcheadСағат бұрын
If you go to program edit you'll see the option to control the start point with velocity. Then, depending on the velocity you use it will determine a new start point for the sample.

What parameters are you controlling at 13:29? Is there a filter on the overall master channel of the song or something?
@mpchead2 күн бұрын
That's the analog heat, I was recalling a preset I created for my mastering chain. Includes filters and saturation.

@chrisscott70922 күн бұрын
Why? What on earth would you need to do that you can't do on the current Octatrack? Would any minor improvements really be worth production and R&D cost, not to mention support for another distinct architecture in addition to the -takt boxes?
@bryanbytes2 күн бұрын
@@chrisscott7092 agree, I’m a big OT stan, but MK2 is all we need… that said, I would definitely buy an MK3 if it ever came out
@carbonvibes2 күн бұрын
