The MPUV Tractor is here. I won't review it just yet but here's my initial thoughts until I get to play around with it a bit more. TOKEN!

I'm definitely keeping this in my Galaxy Freighter hangar to help bring crates to the ship's loading lift. Then the internal tractor beams take it from there.

Just an little thing too keep in mind when buying ship Packs for LTI tokens: you cant melt individiual ships out of packs, just the pack as a whole. Make sure that you actually gona like the CCU cains you build on them, as that could end up biting you in a year or two when something new and shiny arives. ;)

True but we should also not apply our CCU's until those ships we're sure about what we want anyway.

I really wish this could load up 2 Pulse. It’s a bit rough to find reasons to utilize this frame currently where they aren’t just a fun waste of cargo area.

As a solo player would the MPUV tractor offer much value?

Given that Hull C, D & E will mostly use 32 SCU crates, it is disappointing that the MPUV Tractor maxes out at 16 SCU. It is a cool little ship though.

Anything ARGO, I like to leave it orange....that simplifies matters. ARGO is always orange.

I think the real value of the MPUV will be seen when they start separating the different levels of tractor beams and personal one stops being as strong as it is now.

God I hope not, because the range of the ship tractor beams has been atrocious low so far.

It looks more functional to load and unload Hull-series ships. Going to get one.

depending on how close you will be able to build to another person's base will really determine the worth of the MPUV-T imo

I'm really keen to get amongst cargo once it arrives in the PU. It'll be an in game purchase, but I'll be adding one of these to my hanger.

Makes me wonder what other loaders may be coming. Given what the 1T does with its size, I can’t see the RAFT as the 32SCU loader at spaceports.

Just a question... but can you NOT just buy the containers and mounts in game? I know for instance that the Reliant series can swap parts around to make a super Reliant so to speak... can you not do that with these ?

This is an odd duck. Maybe their are tiers for the MPUV? I don't know how you would justify the removal of the tractor beams to add the cargo/carrier modules, beyond maybe saying powering an oxygen system? The cargo one would make less sense in that case, unless they said it had controlled environment systems? Well, if we can store vehicles into cargo containers in the future and release them with a button push, this MPUV could be THE ONE. Until then, I still like the troop carrier for possibilities use.

It would be SO awesome if an ursa could fit in one of this containers (when they make open versions of it). Would make for a kickass drop ship!

I LOVE the utilitary look of the Argo ships! But... they'll all be ingame earn for me, not enough incentive for me to buy these in the curent state of the game.

Without being able to hold 32scu boxes, the best this ship could be is an LTI token. Kind of weird that they didn't try to get this set for a real loading role.

When you want to load 32 SCU boxes, you'd use the Argo Raft instead. The strength of the MPUV is that it's a snub that can fit on ships with a vehicle bay like the carrack or the upcoming RSI Galaxy.

IMO, 16 SCU of cargo isn’t worth its price, unless you have a big cargo ship you need to load up. I don’t get the hype about LTI Tokens!! I don’t really care much for big cargo ships, but I’m definitely looking forward to the Hull D and E 😃

I got the mpuv tractor I'm thinking it's going to come in handy when cargo elevators come online and personal hanger I'm going to have the largest hanger there is because of reclaimer and Polaris so this and ptv going to get me from one end to the other without giving my guy a heart attack

The Cargo variant can only carry 2 SCU. The Tractor variant can carry up to 16 SCU.

They need a little size zero qt drive with enough fuel to jump from a landing zone to orbital station several times, but not enough to get them to a moon. 🤌
