Interesting how the taste ratings turned out, had always considered Tia Maria to be Kahluas slightly less attractive sister but maybe that's just the branding/marketing that Pernod Ricard has pulled off over here in Ireland! It's rare to see Tia Maria anywhere and we can't get Mr Blacks yet!

Thanks for the review. Good information. I really enjoy Grind Espresso Shot. Don't hear alot about it but it has a great Arabica coffee flavor and maintains the sweetness.

Loved the vid, but there were points where your audio peaked pretty bad. I think if you work on both the audio mixing and the physical audio (maybe multiple mics) it will be golden

@@carl_busch No worries, things happen. What I would suggest would be to look into compression and peak normalization for your next vid. If you aren't going to use multi channels for your next vid (for quality) you can gain A LOT out of some post-processing audio tuning! Just a tip

@@GHOSTL0V3 If you check out any video posted in the past 4 months I have an Rode NTG 2 mic with a Cloudlifter. Then in post I do a Noise Reduction and then have a custom Effect Rack I use. With this video I tried for 2 hours to try to make it better. I did apply a so it would limit how many decibels it would go over.

Great Collab. 3 hours is nothing to drive. Kahlua you can get everywhere, the others not so sure. I lived the 70's Dazed and Confused was my high school. :) I have not tried Tia or Mr Black. Thanks for the comparison. Now I will at least have to try and find the other two. I think you 4 need to get together at least once a month for a Cocktail Special. The Fans Demand this.

Fun experiment. Seems to be the year of coffee liqueur, I seem to see it in everything, Jagger, Kraken and even our local micro distillery did a similar (vodka, espresso, sugar) liqueur. Now if true comparison there should have been a cream vs powdered creamer ;)

Tia Maria is the one used most commonly in UK. Kalua is easily accessible, never seen Mr black. Really want to be very dude like and make a Caucasian right now lol

Why so much coffee liqueur? You should have tried it with the original 1:1:1 recipe instead of using double coffee. Or the typical bar recipe that uses 2 oz vodka, 1 oz coffee and 1 oz cream. It makes the drink a lot less sweet.
