We also found a Monty's in LA, on a hillside somewhere not too far from Hollywood

@@punklejunk oh yeah! I forgot about that location. I’m closer to Riverside so I tend to just go there. The strawberry shake 🍓and the original good burger with the house sauce…. ✨chefs kiss✨ and I’m not vegan or vegetarian; it’s just that good!

I was coerced into eating lunch at a vegan restaurant once, about fifteen years ago. Once. Never again. After tasting the "spaghetti and veggie balls", I couldn't help saying, "Where's the BEEF!?" Just a very sad, very bad experience.
@TracyKMainwaring2 жыл бұрын
I'm looking at that meal...all that sugar in the Coke (and how is that sugar cane harvested?), those giant fries, the heavily processed ingredients to make the fake nuggets and burger. Not healthier at all. Do people really think the vegan meal is healthy?

there are some good vegetarian/vegan things. Don't knock it if you haven't tried it.

Just use your teeth to open the bottle. Or a lighter or anything you can use to wedge the cap off. I wouldn't have given up lol

Im pretty sure you could have opened that bottle with your seatbelt tongue. Or anything really.

$15 for a vegan burger, vegan nuggets, fries, and a mexican coke is really not bad at all

Next time open your car door and use the metal door latch to open your glass soda bottle. My dad did it when we would go to the drive in years ago. The dehydrated onions are the best!

I think it’s work noting that Mr. Charlie’s is more expensive as it’s a small business too!
@tonidavis49042 жыл бұрын
Just a FYI: Your vehicle has a bottle opener built in the door latch. Open your door, and there is a u shaped latch that your door connects with to keep it shut, and you can put you bottle cap there to use it to open non-twist tops.
@CheeseDanish852 жыл бұрын
Yeah but then she'd have to open the door in the middle of LA...

I love vegan nuggets! And vegan sausages are yummy too :) I can’t eat red meats and I don’t like the idea of eating meat, but it’s also important to try and keep as many options in my diet as I can because I have severe digestive disorders and every nutrient counts!

Fifteen dollars for the unhappy meal seems about right considering your getting an adult portion size like a bigger burger, plant based chicken nuggets plus a large order of fries. Plus a Coke cola in a glass bottle made with sugar and not corn syrup. I hope Emmy buys a bottle opener key chain at some point after posting this video. Got a shark bottle opener key chain from a classmate in college for my birthday many years ago and it definitely has been very handy.

Also, the plant-based protein in the vegan meal isn't subsidized, which artificially suppresses the true costs.

Sometimes I order the apple slices for my guinea pig as a treat. He likes them (and it keeps him from begging for my food at the same time, haha), and it's pretty much the only piggy-safe thing I know of that I can order from McDonald's.
@evil1by12 жыл бұрын
The side salad is ok. Yes its iceberg lettuce but pigs can have that in moderation like any fruit. Plus it has tomatoes which my pigs loved so so much.

It's rare that a vegan food company is so self aware that they label their own food as unhappy.
