Is it just me or does Mr. Darcy reply just a little to fast when he's talking to Lizzy. Like he's so desperate to talk to her but just has no idea what to say and is so relieved when she asks him a question because he has a reason to speak with her for all of five seconds.

Well acted and well written, but it is the amazing Direction (and Cinematography) that really brings out the complexity of his character and thus the wonderful storyline/romance.

The Pemberley sequence is interesting because Darcy remains thoroughly glad to see her every time they meet, even after her angry refusal.

Only criticism: not wearing gloves when dancing was simply NOT done. Skin on skin contact before engagement/marriage was discouraged by all families.
