Something they didn’t mention in the video about the Voroneț Monastery, also called the “Sistine Chapel of the East” is that the vivid blue on the walls known as “Voroneț blue” is unique in the world, in the sense that no one to this day actually found out how it was made or manage to replicate it! The monastery survived centuries of war and extreme weather and the exterior paintings still look almost brand new! Also, did you know that Transylvania is sometimes called “the last truly surviving medieval site in all of Europe”? When you go there, everything seems like a step back in time, medieval villages with towering fortified churches where life remains simple like in the past. It also holds the last still inhabited medieval citadel in Europe known as Sighișoara. Our mountains are literally untouched by man compared to other european countries, a lot of pristine virgin forests here! There is so much more to Romania than the tourist hotspots mostly shown in these types of videos. So many more beautiful cities and nature to see! You really have to check more out, and see how amazing my country really is! ☺️ I really hope you’ll come here someday!

Hi again Mr. Giant. My childhood was in the 70s in a village near to Transfăgărășan , in the Carpathian mountains. I lived like in the 19th century, in my grandparents' house, without asphalt , they used horse carts and I ate what my grandparents produced in the farm. I was very unhappy because I wanted to live like JR, Bobby and Pamela in Dallas. Now I realize that I was born in Heaven, but I didn't appreciate it. 😢 Respectly, Cristian

On Voronet walls you'll find the unique blue color called "Voronet blue" . Bucovina is home to most hospitable people in Romania in my opinion. If you want peace and tranquility you can go north where you'll find beautiful monasteries . Also Maramures is a place where if you like to see people dressed in national costumes in Sundays and drink good palinca ( 70 -80 % alcohol ).

Romania is a very old place. And a bit of a mistery to me, as well. Romanian Language is like mine, Portuguese. Its a Latin Language. The only out of Latin Europe. Hows that?

there is an old saying which points out that latin is in fact a romanian language haha to be mentioned that our land used to be called different, only in recent history it became Romania due to the roman empire.

Hello there Mr. Giant, so good to see that you covered another video about my gorgeous country. There are hundreds of stunning, mesmerizing, brooding, picturesque and fabulous places you can visit here. Some other places that were not mentioned in the video are the Delta Dunării (Danube Delta or marsh), the only one in Europe as far as i know, home of diverse fauna and flora and where you can eat delicious fish based traditional dishes. The Palatul Culturii (Culture Palace) in Iași city, that houses many museums in a huge imposing castle building. The botanical Garden in Iași, one of the largest ones in the country. Bucegi mountains, where you can find unique and bizarre rock formations. Vatra Dornei, a small city in moldova region, known for it's traditionalism and beautiful scenery, and home of the longest (i think) sky lift in the country (the journey up the mountain takes about 40-50 minutes, if i'm not mistaken). Mocănița, a journey in the Maramureș county through forests and majestic landscapes with a small open train that has a real, old style steam engine, very lovely. I hope you have a wonderful day Mr. Giant, stay safe and much health, looking forward to the next videos. :D

We had no food, no light ( just for 1 hour or two), not allowed to travel, not allowed to choose if we want to make babys or not, etc. My mother was on two times to die because she made an advortion on her house, because she had 5 kids & not want kids anymore and we didn' t have drugs to stop make in babys. My aunt could' n have kids because she was sick so was force to pay for that to the goverment. We are not allowed to speach our mind and if you said something to offend the dictators you go to jail for us long us he wanted. So manny bad thinks. My brothers was on the revolution and they where prepared to die just to free our country from Ceausescu & U.R.S.S( russian sovietics), we did mennage to the help off the army. The army was force to defend Ceaușescu but on the revolution the army turn against Ceausescu & united with ppl to take him down. From here a slogan :" Armata e cu noi" translation " The army is with us" I was 6y old but i remember the tanks, the fear, how much i was scared about my brothers life ,because my old brother was in the army ,a soldier ,so he was force to defend Ceaușescu etc. It' s so much to talk about this but i will stop because i am not so good to whrite in english so i don' t want to make a mistake. ❤ You know what is sad ,so manny died to free our country and romania because off the politicians are not doing good😢, so all those hwo died to free this country if they saw this 😢😢, my brother moved in germany and lives there for 10 y ,because off the money and our bad politicians and he was one off the soldiers hwo risk his life for this country and is not faire to be force to live 😢but hey if the ppl doesn' t do anythink us a union to fight for our country 😢all off the romanian came from the europe came here to fitgh the politicians and they where beat up by police & etc so they left again to work on other countrys to survive, they didn' t menage to get down this politicians that stole our country for years😢

considering your train of thought at the 9th minute, I clearly need to watch a video about Africa, since I have the same media generated preset as you do, whenever I think about Africa I imagine a lot of sand and starving children with big bellies.... and I am sure it's not that, it has to be colorful and beautiful as well.
