You're completely right about how there's too much added too quickly with character abilities in this one, adding weapon crafting on top of that made this kind of difficult to get used to. I don't like that this one tones down the stealth elements, it's more of an optional thing and is rarely ever incorporated in puzzles. This is still a really good game. Good luck on getting 3, it feels like a great "send-off" to this series and ties the story up nicely. I think it might be divisive amongst fans for having a very different tone and theming but I like it much more than the first two, luckily for you these custom versions are much more common now and have gone down in price.

I don't even think there's too much going on (arguably with the changes to weapons I'd say there isn't enough mechanically), the problem is they throw too much at you, too quickly, without allowing you to acclimate to it. I still don't really get the nuance of Cloud, and what it is actually tactically good for, or what's its combat strength is, because they don't really give you time to understand it before throwing element combo abilities your way. I do agree as a stealth fan it's been dumbed down, but I do appreciate it allows people to have more options in approach to every room. I really hope so, I've wanted to get Boktai 3 for a very long time, and as I don't have any experience with it, I'd enjoy diving into an unknown.

i don't know this game never played it. It looks intresting but i'm not much a fan of Isometric Games. So i have one challenge if u wanna do that and if u like isometric games: Play Monster Max on the OG Gameboy and make a video about it i'm kinda curious what u think of it! This was my first isometric game which i have played.

I've wanted a copy of Monster Max for years now, unfortunately it wasn't released here so getting a copy is a tad pricey.
