Mr. Woofer, You sure tweeted out some good sounds! I bought a VZ-1 in 1988 from Sam Ash on 48th st NYC. It's 2015 and It still works perfectly. It makes a great master controller keyboard. I knew when I bought it, it was going to be a classic. It was the last Pro synth casio made. I WILL NEVER SELL IT...........

Yes, identical! The VZ8m has special modes for the Digital Horn and Guitar, according to the manual. and You can daisy chain the VZ8m with other VZ8m's to get 64 note polyphony, not sure but perhaps the VZ10m can be included in that chain?

It does not have built-in drums. The drum sounds were created using synthesis, like every other sound in the synth.

How is this compared to the CZ synths? I always liled them as well!
@davedagreat699 жыл бұрын
sonicultura The VZs were much more digital sounding then the CZ synths which were, I felt, a little warmer than Yamaha's FM. The VZs are much harder to program due to a really annoying menu system. You have to select the menu you want, scroll through the screens with the cursor buttons and then press the appropriate menu button again to edit anything in that screen. Very fiddly and slow. I love my VZ10m though, I've made some great bass sounds on it.
