I feel like this should have been based on which gym leader was the most challenging in the playthrough (plus a type specialist from alola who proved to be a tough opponent in the Pokémon league) with an improved team though, for example I'd say the most challenging battles were; Sabrina Clair Wallace Fantina Clay Ramos Mina Plus a new gym leader from gen 8 All with teams that are a combination of; A. A culmination of the best Pokémon they have ever used B. The best Pokémon of their respective type specialties available in their home regions C. Any non legendaries in the Uber/ OU tier of Smogon Rules to fill out any empty spaces
