I don't speak Japanese, but I love the in-car banter & laughing between the drivers, especially with Gan-san driving. Something I've always enjoyed with these videos.

The MR2 was the funnest car I’ve ever driven on track. Not the fastest but it’s a car that makes you concentrate just cuz of how quirky it’s characteristics are on tarmac. I really want another one.

CT20B turbo straight up outpaced a early version GT3076R and TD06. Response was king on this track and the stock ct20b has most of it.

The problem seemed to be mostly about suspension/differential/brake settings but then 90s aftermarket turbines didnt really have much to brag about in terms of turbo lag I guess

Keiichi and his godlike driving technique. It started to look like his tires out did the other drivers because of braking, shifting, turning, track knowledge. I wouldnt be surprised if he was gathering information by watching how the other guys cars were behaving. Like he said in the old and new nsx battle, "look how they move" if youve got ocd with linearity and leveling you know what he means when he says that.

Manual Transmission Assembly and parts is now discontinued by Toyota 7 months ago. Unavailable if you need a tranny.
I've always been a fan of the MR2. My first two cars were the pontiac fiero which i thought as similar but always wanted an MR2. Now I drive a G35 and am considering trading for MR2 or 350z.

driven a turbo mr2 with td06 a g35 and just bought an s2000 and it rapes it both only car i can compare it to is a lotus elise in handling wise
