I don't know if you have heard about the new PSU from Corsair, the shift series that have the cables to one side, the thing is that they say that the case must have a minimum width of 210 mm, I know that this model does comply, but in your experience you see that the back cover is very tight or glued to the source... because I think it should at least measure more than 5 cm, so that the cables can bend and go up or go to one side.

Dude, go for the 7800X3D. That is the best gaming CPU at the moment. Use a great cooling system of course. If you want to use the glass panel go for water cooling, but if you prefer the mesh (I use and prefer that one for the airflow results) go for air cooling. I recommend and use the Noctua NH-D15 chromax black.

Your silly gpu power cables are blocking part of the airflow from gpu, use normal cables next time.

Incorrect. If the cables had been pulled taught under the GPU the airflow would’ve been restricted, however, because the cables go direct down to the shroud before cleanly laying over said shroud, they are not blocking the GPU fans from the front air intake at all 🤷🏻‍♂️

Looks like Cougar put a lot of thought into this case, including the moveable cable bar for E-ATX boards, and of course the main selling point of switching the front panels out based on usage (or mood). Oddly enough I saw one review that didnt get much temp fluctuation using either panel, only thing that made a difference was vertical mounting the GPU close to the TG panel instead of using a bracket with a riser. Some things they could do for revisions: I have an aversion to wasted parts so they could do a top panel that fits the same as the front so you can swap the glass and mesh so they are both utilized on the case instead of one sitting in the closet. 💡 In designing the top panel, pop it up 30mm to provide room for fans so you can push/pull a 280/360 AIO. 5000d is the only case I know of that offers this. Provide a 3rd color choice, white shell with black interior, done properly and not the way NZXT did the H7 (too much black on the outside, feet and TG border should be white). And lastly, offer a base case WITHOUT fans (at a lower price point?) so enthusiasts can populate with their fan(s) of choice (again avoiding e-waste). Cases of this style look great with ring fans (a la NZXT) so we shouldn't be pigeon-holed into using standard RGB fans or binning them to get the ring look. Could include a GPU V-mount in lieu of fans?

Hi Matt! I love all your builds but this one is my least favorite in terms of case selection. Totally respect your choice to provide options but this one is my least favorite. The video is a piece of art of course but the case looks not so appealing. The temps for glass config seems very high, perhaps choosing an air cooler might have affected. It also covers the rams too much. Especially there are so many better options esthetically and in terms of performance. Once again beautiful video though and I am sure some would be compelled.

Meh...not the best looking case. Please make a rig for creators with two MSI Suprim X Liquid 4090 gpus, ProArt mb, 128GB, 4TB SSD, Kraken Elite AIO cpu cooler, Seasonic 1600W. Two ProArt RTX 4080 aren't enough.
