#pcbuild #jonsbo #asuspcdiy - We've seen the Z20 and the D31, but what if they combined? Well, the D32 Pro certainly comes close! Let's talk about that.
Timecodes, though I don't recommend skipping for visual narrative reasons!
00:00 - A Calming Intro
01:51 - D32 Pro Overview
02:39 - Build Hardware
03:09 - Motherboard Assembly
04:55 - D32 Pro Assembly
08:10 - Airflow Visualization
08:29 - Cinematic & Desk Setup
10:24 - Coffee Thanks & Outtakes
What really defines 'Peak Micro ATX' ? Well, it's small... it has the ability to support a Strix RTX 4090 and the colossal Noctua RTX 4080... very little space wasted inside, whilst retaining a low cost and high build quality. Throw in the support for reverse motherboard connect and that's quite a large demand for such a small case.
Jonsbo are an illusive brand here in the UK. Whilst we can find them in places like Overclockers, it seems like all new releases take at least a year to make it to our market which blows my mind. Anyway, cut to present day and as luck should have it, a rouge D32 Pro appeared for sale finally!
I went into this build with similar expectations to that of the Z20 recently featured on the channel. The materials and overall build quality are much the same, including some typical Jonsbo style quirks along the way. The D32 Pro is much more spacious however which lends it's self for more airflow and great GPU compatibility which is a winner!

Micro ATX is always my go-to form factor. Building with the D32 Pro was a pleasurable experience with some really interesting stages. I particularly liked to see the back connect motherboard support, this should hopefully grow even more as we progress into 2025... Perhaps a revisit with this case later is in order for that?

I have a FormD Ti which is under 10l so I would be increasing the size of my case to go with the D32 and no I wouldn't consider it.

Personally, If I was building more of a budget machine with hardware such as a 12400F with a 4060, it would be ideal. However, for anything more potent, I'd want more airspace that a mid-tower would provide.

MicroATX is the perfect size for the majority of people, what sucks is that there is less board choice there. I want 10 gbe Ethernet and ECC support. you can only get that with full size ATX.

I'm really fond of M-ATX builds, and this looks like a PC you can take to a LAN party. And I really like the fact that cases like these can pack so much power into a small form factor. And I also like those minimal accents, gives the PC a look of something very clean and very sophisticated. Nice work, Mr. Lee, and greetings from India! 👋☕

This is an absolutely stunning build. Your attention to detail and the way you present each step as a visual narrative is truly impressive. I wonder if, down the road, you might consider expanding your content to include interviews with case designers. It would be fascinating to hear about their vision, the challenges they face, the design choices they make, and even see some of the prototypes they’ve worked on. Getting their perspective could offer a deeper appreciation for the artistry and engineering behind the cases we use and enjoy. Much like how Apple once highlighted Johnny Ive, I think it could be an incredible addition to your already amazing content.

I did a build in an ASUS Prime case you featured a while back. I used this combo of Artic air cooler and case fans, and the airflow is amazing. I get better flow with my mATX build than I did with my fuller tower build (I'm also forgoing glass panels and sticking with all mesh panels). Anyway your videos are very chill to watch and make me just want to build new computers over and over. I'm not into big flashy builds anymore. Functionality and clean aesthetics are the way to go, as showcased by your videos. Well done!

With the D31 I found that there is a small benefit in temperatures and noise if you raise the case up, can test by putting something under the feet. I'm not sure if the D32 is the same. I made wooden feet and painted them black with a hole in so I can get to the screw. Great video as always. I just built in this case 3 days ago. It’s soo much better than my previous nzxt h510 aesthetically and practically . One thing to note is that although you can install ssds and hdds, it wouldnt work properly unless you’re really good at cable management. I had a 2.5 ssd and hdd that I wanted to transfer over but I couldn’t because the back panel wouldn’t close because of the sata cable. I’m not sure if it’ll work with a smaller psu since I’m using an atx one. I also had a fan hub that I couldn’t install due to the same reason. So if you’re planning on building in this, you’re better off with m.2 ssds and plugging your fans into your mb. Currently, I think this is only available in China so Ali express if the place to buy. I bought it from a seller who had the most sold. Took 6 weeks to come to the uk. If you buy this, buy the pro version

Loved the case! The PSU on the front was quite the interesting idea. Nowadays, that space is, most of the time, wasted. Until not long ago, I was more into big cases, nowadays, not anymore. I want my rigs to be compact and pleasant to the eyes, while still being not too flashy. My most recent one looks like a small square box (small within a MicroATX format). I used the C3Tech MT-G710BK case. I called it my own "XBox". Hahahaha... Sadly, the iTX format is still way too expensive (the motherboard). I'm not willing to pay so much more for having a more compact rig, so, I have to make it do with the M-ATX format.
