Always enjoy the vids, some great cracks with Charlie the leccy, but I would suggest the old stitch and drill method of cutting down a doorway. Granted it takes a wee bit longer but no dust, no water running down walls and minimal mess. keep on keeping on.

Thank you walesdad, really good to hear that you enjoy the videos and really appreciate you watching them and commenting. In an occupied house I couldn't agree more mate, but they had moved out at the time we just went for it! All the best for the new year mate, take care.

Hello Khalil, hope you're well. Yes mate, of course. The loft side of things is coming to an end so the renovation will start to feature more heavily from now on.

Just a tip, when using that stripper, get a cheap garden sprayer and soak the wall using that, I’ve done many rooms using it like that including my own and customers property 👍🎉

Yes mate, I bought one straight away and started using it, much much easier! Appreciate you watching and commenting mate, thank you.

If you can perforate and (properly) soak the wallpaper the day before you actually go to remove it it makes a world of difference. Don't even have to use concentrate, soapy water works fine for everything I've found. Also do yourself a favour and get yourself a pump spray bottle, like for the garden. So much easier than using a tiny trigger bottle over a whole wall and they come in useful for spraying down dust too.

Cheers mate. The garden sprayer was delivered by Amazon by 1pm the following day! Mine had broke but luckily found that crappy thing in my van. The garden type don't tend to last long but as you say they are far superior.

Hi guys, what thickness timber do you use for the door linings, isn't 28mm sufficient even if your hanging a fire door?
@Mr_A_Builders
@Mr_A_Builders Жыл бұрын
Hi Kevin thanks for commenting. If you buy a fire door frame off the shelf it will generally be more substantial than that and if you do have a planted stop rather than a rebated frame they again will be wider and thicker than a standard internal door lining stop 👍🏻
