Prussia just took our land what was bad for us but they didn't try to exterminate Slavic people or to do something similar to Nazi crimes. It was a tolerant state, there was no difference for a king what ethnicity are you or what religion do you believe. It has changed after unification of Germany but with all of its disadvantages German Empire was normal civilized country which brought a lot to European civilization.

His Grandparents and his Father were Germans ( from Augsburg ). at this time and age ,offspring had the nationality of the father #( and women had barely a say about anything ), Check out the fact´s. Yes Hitler was an unsucessful Artist who later ruled Germany, ....and Austria...did not 1,2 Million Austrians celebrate their "New austrian Emporer on the Greater German Reich´s Throne" ? their "new Austrian ruler of the next Holy Empire"? As some austrian Newspaper headlines read, just the Day after the Anschluss? With 98,8 % of all Austrians ( with the exception from the people of Vorarlberg, who wanted to be integrated into Swizerland , but were denied to do so by Austria ) voting for the Anschluss? And no,you did not just want to compare, and state your opinion, you wanted to troll ,like the most Austrians do on YT Videos featuring German content these Day´s . Making amongst others, historical questionable and dubious claims and accusations. That clearly takes shape after your initial coment. Where did I admit "My false behaviour"...and what "false behaviour are you talking about ? Giving you some actual historical facts? Showing you that Austrians have an inferiority complex and tend to distort History? you know like ..."it was all the germans, they forced us..we were their victims...we had nothing to do with those war´s. I do not need to compare marching music from Germany (Prussia) and Austria (Hungary) ,because it´s still the same as it was when it was composed , and I surely want change my mind, and surely the majority of the World want change it´s mind.

I welcome the Prussian marches and the Austria-Hungarian marches and the commemorations. However, this song does not belonging in such a category and doesn’t do justice to any of the unified states, it downplays the diversity of Germanic states when exalting one narrow definition of Germanism above the rest. The axis powers did not appreciate the free state of Prussia and dismantled it with a coup, in 1934. Among the narrow exalted Germany, Felix Mendelssohn was conveniently excluded, as was many Jewish musicians of the German empire like Arnold Schonberg. I LOVE Deutschland, I speak truth, it is beautiful because of its enlightenments comprised inside it, it was the nationalist Lebensraum that destroyed it. So no this song isn’t what makes Germany great and Germany is great.
