I’ve been told I should pay £130 more for some feet due to the weight of a triple column rad on plasterboard walls, but you’ve fitted this without?
@MrandMrsDIYАй бұрын
You don't have to use them, but it just depends on your wall or where you are fitting it to, cheers

If the flow is the wrong way round with this rad, is it OK to turn the rad around on the bracket to suit? I have this problem with this exact rad, not installed it yet but both front and back look identical!
@MrandMrsDIYАй бұрын
Yes it should be okay! Just check the instructions and contact your supplier if you need any more help! Cheers!

These rads leak like hell,you need at least twice as much ptf tape as usual.
@MrandMrsDIY10 ай бұрын
they shouldn't do if installed correctly. cheers

Yes. Not many threads in some of em for the tails to screw into. You are correct Brian. The one in the video looks fine though. In fact it has o rings.

I've got one that's leaking from the bottom outlet. Would you just recommend more PTFE tape or should I get some plumbers mate too?
@ivanhoe63667 ай бұрын
@@tomevans8749 the rad that I have didn't have many threads. Some rads are better. Mine just needed about thirty raps of ptfe. It's all good now. From memory there was about 8mm of thread in the radiator and it was a slack thread too.
