It still doesn't seem real. Someone with all of that talent and genius isn't here physically, but still is in our hearts. I miss him so dearly. Although I've never met him personally, I think all that love him know him thru his music. Nobody can ever take the memories or the music from us. May we live to see the dawn. Peace, and be wild!💜💜💜💜💜💜💜

He gave us all the talent he had. He literally sacrificed his body, and ultimately his life (as he was trying to deal with the pain), just to share his incomparable talents with us. One of the first things he told us was “All of this and more is ‘For You’. With love, sincerity and deepest care. My life with you I share”. He said it and he did it. He shared and gave us all he had. This continues to hurt so bad.😢💜☔️💜

Prince's splits were probably his most impressive move. Just the fact he could do them on a whim, and mix with his mic play, you've got a match made in heaven.

Prince was a amazing, talented, awesome dancer and his dancing was sexy, sensual and electrifying. It was so sad to see with all the split, jumping off the speakers and rafters for years taking a toll on his body. I want to thank Prince who gave 110 percent of his heart, soul and spirit to all us to appreciate his music and presence. 💜🥰🤗🕺🏽💜

I would disagree about MJ being the greatest dancer. He mastered a certain kind of dance but Prince was more graceful and energetic. And he was able to incorporate so much emotion into his dancing. I always found MJ to be a bit robotic.
@purpleflowers6993 жыл бұрын
🖤💜🖤I completely agree with you. Of course when you do the same moves over and over again you’re going to become very good at doing them. So mj did become an expert at doing the moonwalk, but in mj’s videos most of the things that came across as impressive, was simply because of all the special affects he used in his videos. Prince mainly used his body, just like other professional dancers. Did you see the video from 1983? The one that introduced a lot of songs that would be featured in 1984’s ‘ Purple Rain ‘ movie? Prince threw that legendary mini concert not only to promote his movie that was coming out, but also as a fundraiser for a Minneapolis dance company. Prince was just as much about dance, if not more so than mj. I love a lot of variety in my entertainment and that’s what Prince was all about. Not only for his audience sake, but also for his own. Prince’s ‘ Purple Rain ‘ tour was huge, but after months of doing the same thing, he couldn’t take it anymore and stopped the tour. His record label wanted to take it around the world, but he had already move on. Of course he wanted to make a good living, and a world tour brings in a bundle of money, but Prince’s creativity always came first. Also you’re so right about those ‘ Robotic Moves ‘. I could tell that mj’s dance moves influence a lot of younger entertainers, because they’re moves were just as robotic and unappealing to me. There’s no real flow to that type of dancing. In my opinion, he was better at dancing when he was a kid. Prince sacrificed so much for his art, and I truly appreciate that. If he hadn’t he might still be with us.🖤💃🏻💜🕺🏽🖤
@Captain_Rhodes3 жыл бұрын
I agree prince was those things but MJ didnt realy master a kind of dance. He was original and memorable. His influences were quite strange as he brought in that fred astaire and charlie chaplin stuff and mixed it with james brown. I like them both but MJs moves are the ones that stick in my head

@@missmiko1 Stupidity Prince is not a dancer all he could do is the splits and the jump. MJ was an innovator. He learned from others and took it to his own style and made it better. Prince all he did was copy James Brown. 99% of dancers worship MJ. Dancers don’t give a shit for Prince. I’m a dancer and let me say this Prince ain’t a dancer.

💋💜Prince was such a fantastic dancer. He was music. It resonated throughout his mind & body making it impossible for him & then all of us to keep still. He had really great legs too. To take a movie quote from Steven Tyler "look how they go all the way up & make an ass out of themselves"! He also had a sexy one of those & he could shake it like nobody's business. He made it possible to have the perfect soundtrack to our lives with music to dance to 4EVER!💜❤

Very well done, Mr. Ants 💟 I’ve been as much a fan of Prince dancing as his music, mostly. Every time I come across a live performance of him jumping off something, I think now about what it cost him to give us that. When he certainly didn’t have to. The music alone would have been enough, in the end... that’s just what remained. 💜 As an aside, I think the injury/injuries he suffered and likely didn’t attend properly to was the most harm. There used to be a video on YT of his falls and slips, there were some. Those things cause more long term harm that simply over use. If you haven’t go watch “Willing and Able” he does a couple of iconic ‘60’s dances. I loved his early dances too, the freestyle stuff like from “Little Red Corvette” where he seems to have involuntary vibrations. He was definitely on his own wavelength ❣️

Prince just like Michael Jackson loved James Brown. They both had James Brown moves....Prince took James's splits and microphone thang and Michael took James Brown's foot work (The Mashed Potatoes dance)......so when you talk about some of Prince's dance moves and stage presents....no doubt he took some of his moves from one of his favorite artist Mr. Dynamite...The Godfather of Soul really (The Godfather of Funk) James Brown. I loved his dancing, the full splits is my favourite and his erotic strip tease dances and jumps. But as we know those movements did his hips in, years to come. Dancing was yet another talent he had, but to be honest I am more enamoured with his singing, playing and stage presence than just dancing. For pure dancing I have to mention you know who - come on - none could compare to the King of Pop, just watching his sequences makes me still go wow, with Prince its like "Yeah not bad", but Michael "Holy artichoke Batman".
