Just received a pair of these in black. Excellent product, was looking for this exact product for some time now. In this video he shows off color bolts. but the ones that came with my package were black as well and looked even better than what was advertised. I prepare my stocks by positioning the cheek rest on the butt stock and open the bolt to make sure I can remove the bolt with the cheek rest attached. Then I use a drill press, two magnetic bubble levels and some spacer stock (to carry the weight of the barrel).

Hi, I am planning on getting one but my stock is a Weatherby Vanguard II series. I believe it won't work because of the Monte Carlo type cheek rest already molded into it. How could I make it work with the one side straight and one side angled?

Wouldn't putting the knobs on the other side make more sense, because you'd be less likely to catch them on your sleeve/wrist?

Brendan, Thanks for the comment. I've found that knobs would be in the way of your face & I've never had my sleeve or wrist get caught on the knobs. Especially since the knobs are far enough back on the stock. Check out my Instagram page, there are plenty of pictures of my customers shooting with my Cheek Rest & you can see how far the knobs are from your wrist/sleeves. Hope you have a Happy New Year~!

Terron, I custom mold them to fit that stock. So if you are right handed, I'd recommend either the Right handed cheek rest that has a slight cutout for your shooting hand or the Bear Paw cheek rest which has the most room for your shooting hand and my personal favorite. So if I'm a right handed shooter, which version do I need. Nothing specifies what the left or right denomination refers too, so I'm not sure if it's the shoulder you shoot from or the side opposite the knobs, or... lol.

You'll want to order the Bear Paw Right handed Cheek Riser if you are right handed. Your right Cheek will rest on it, the rifle will be in your right shoulder, you'll look through the scope with your right eye & you'll use your right hand & right index finger to pull the trigger. @@anon-yw4wd I definitely recommend the Low Profile Allen Key Hardware over the Flathead hardware, as you only need a 1/4" hole drilled & it's compatible with the Quick Adjustment Knob hardware, whereas the Flathead requires a 3/8" hole & is not compatible with either hardware.
