Imagine kidnapping a girl when you’re 20 years old, burying her alive in an attempt to slowly kill her, then being free by the time you’re 24. The justice system really confuses me sometimes, man.

A murder can be between 25 years to life depending on the situation, an attempt of murder is treated them same but since the crime wasn't successful they can't take on extra things to extend the sentence also every case is different but the defendent most likely declared heat of the moment or insanity lowering a sentence and allowing reformation in some cases, the real question is why the fuck did patrick only get charged with kidnapping

Crazy how in the states people think that some charges get little time when in the rest of the world we get really surprised about how MUCH time people get in the US for committing crimes. My thought exactly. And the kind of murder intended would have been slow and painful. Moreover, it was torture in itself! Buried alive and left to die. Attempted murder 20 years? No. Life sentences. Both of them. The other creature was there and assisted with the murder plan! 4 years on kidnapping?? This is an atrocity of judgement that was passed!!!

@@bentonrp No real point in life sentences, may as well just hand out the death penalty. But if criminals knew they would always just get death for serious crimes why would they ever confess or even let the police take them alive? ‘As a nurse…’?!? 🤔 Why would being a nurse matter in this situation? I’m wondering if you, as a nurse, played any part in the government experiment we were put through in these last few years? Did you administer tests and jabs? Did you insist on masks? Did you put DNR notices above beds? Did you refuse people access to medical care that wasn’t ‘covid’ related? Did you refuse to let patients spend their last days with loved ones? Did you do anything, whatsoever, that the government told you to without questioning them? If yes, then you’d probably have been a nurse on the Tuskegee too.

The government has lied and did horrible things to all of us. And to this day they are trying to perpetuate a race war. It's time that we all get together blacks and whites and realize that we are not the government. the government has taken everything and left us to fight each other for the scraps. The Democrats are the biggest Liars. It was the Republicans who freed the slaves it was the Republicans who gave black men the right to vote even before women. It's all horrible but it didn't happen to any of us. Those of us now have to do something to change things. The Democrats and the Republicans are all liars they all work for themselves and not for us. But we must come together they have divided and conquered us for far too long. That medical study experiment is one of the reasons why medical students take bioethics to learn that medical staff need to inform the patient with clear instructions in what the experiment is for and the risks for participating. However, not all medical schools require bioethics to be a prerequisite. It is an important class to take because so many medical doctors don't have that mindset for the patient, they like to experiment and having a patient to experiment on is their passion but not for the patient's wellbeing That's why you hear so many horror stories of ppl with bad doctors and why ppl never go to the doctors for any treatment

The Tuskegee Experiment was something I’d been taught at a young age and a huge reason my grandfather and many of my older relatives has a tough time trusting the government or most doctors that they haven’t known for too long. @@kavin1814 No. What everyone "forgets" is that this town was the home of a syphilis colony for over 300 years. Syphilis as you know can kill an entire community like it did on an island in Greece. So just like the leopards in Hawaii , there were places where people with incurable disease could live in peace. The original 1930 syphilis study was only for one year, to track it's spread rate. But no one believed how fast it spread, so they replaced the Doctors, and did it again and again. The average spread rate in 1930 was 1 new infection from a known source every 10 years. In Macon it was 3 per year.

Thanks for doing the syphilis story : Every generation of American citizens should know that happened . I know of a young man who died of syphilis in the last decade : He had every symptom of an untreated schizophrenic and kept getting locked up in the mental hospital - He was non-compliant . He told them the meds made him feel terrible and didn’t help . It wasn’t until months before his death at 27 , they realized he had syphilis and it was too late to treat him. Apparently, there are today pockets of syphilis outbreaks . I can’t imagine how many men contracted the disease after sleeping with him. As his mental health declined he became more and more sexually solicitous. Why it took so long for the hospitals to think to test for syphilis ? We’ll never know . Something else the citizenry should be aware of . Thanks for doing consistently great programs ! 🌸
