12:59 My guess; the creature's true language is the "Whoop"s, and the human sounding gibberish they spoke surrounding the camp is similar to how humans meow at their cats. No clue what we are saying, but we vaguely mimick sounds that cats are known to make to lure them closer out of curiosity.

The audio recording hit me hard… ever since I was young, my family went on a trip every year to the Ozarks in Missouri. We always camped at the exact same spot. EVERY SING YEAR weird shit happened. I have so many stories from it. I heard this exact thing when I was 15 and it was petrifying. It was very late (not sure what time we had no electronics). And we camped beside a river and a spring that fed into it. Odd things always happened at night. We only had small zipper tents. Me and my older brother got our knives and kept the fire going as we listened to the almost human-like talking. We didn’t notice it at first, because the river had frequent kayaking. But after about 5 minutes, nobody came down the river. The talking lasted around 20 minutes (rough guess). And it sounded like it was on the cliff directly across the river. I love the forest, but I feel it is unwise to think there aren’t “things” out there.

the whoops sound more like a dog noise. like a short howl. now, that 'communication' between them is fascinating. it, in fact, does sound like a language. it's not too far fetched that there are human-like species that have lived in the forests alongside us. they would develop differently than humans in metropolitan areas. they would be more hairy than us to withstand the cold, they would have thicker skin, they would be bipeds, they would be much taller, they would make or find shelter, communicate to each other and avoid modern humans at all costs. genetics have proven that the Sasquatch is a mix of female human DNA and an unknown male Hominin's DNA. possibly it was Sasquatches these hunters witnessed.

@@middleearthriseofmordor7656 to me, it sounds like Mohawk and Japanese mixed together,... Like a big chested native american was speaking Japanese to his kids. whom were making the lower noises at the hunters,.. I can mimic these sounds a great deal myself, i can go very lower and high register within syllables because of doing impressions a lot and learning how to mimic speech patterns, but the strength of register behind that deep japanese like speech has tonal shifts within its own register, it would be like speaking a full paragraph in the context of a couple words... when you realllly scrutinize the evidence it gets more and more to the fact that they are definitely out there, and are fascinated with us to one degree, but like other tribes, want nothing to do with us.

@@Oizys- Idk man, it is definitely possible that those voices were indeed human, but the age of the recording and just how strong the howling sounded really makes me belive it was an animal. @@Oizys- Well I'm more inclined to belive professionals in that field rather than a random youtube comment (no disrespect meant of course), but from what I've heard in the recording, the voice from the man and the animals just sound too diffirent imo. I know it's an old recording, but I'm very much positive that humans can't make such powerful howls. I don't see any benefit in them staging all of this up and I don't belive a group of hunters from the 70's were trying to play some sort of a prank on the rest of society. Oh also I'm pretty sure hunters of all professions, would know if the howls were from an animal or some drunk crazies and the fact that they were hearing this throughout most of the night adds another layer of doubt that there were actully human beings running and lurking around this lodge in the dead of night for hours.

What if the one saying that is just mimicking something one of its previous victims said before it killed them? Kinda like how a Wendigo can mimic human speech it's heard. your videos and sasquatch chronicles are my two go-to channels. I and my family were the victims of much poltergeist activity while I was growing up. I was skeptical of the idea of sasquatch for a long time. I always attributed my experiences as being supernatural in nature until I started listening to sasquatch chronicles and saw that much of their behavior went hand in hand with some of what I was dealing with as a small child. thank you for your stories. I am at peace with my supernatural experiences and my sasquatch experiences but it is always good to hear the experiences of others as reaffirmations of my own.

I heard "okay come on" one can't know how much they understand, but they seem to know when hunters are stalking prey and may interpret it as a threat. Cognitive behavioral suggests that they aren't just illusive but extremely curious and territorial. Territory is defined as a home range, habitat, or area that is DEFENDED. squirrels and cougars have "home ranges" not defended. for different reasons. These things are scary. If they don't scare you you're either in denial or stupid. They throw projectiles, communicate, and show a distinct and possibly inherent defense mechanism to be aggressive and mischievous. Someone needs to bag one and or capture a couple and inform them to spread the word about how taking us off their menu is imperative to their survival! One of the guys on here is calling it. I live in NH. I know the whoop howl sounds like a loon but how we or an ape would mimic a loon! Either way what's strange now that I think about it is! I'm positive of two things about the audio. One that one of these guys is throwing a poor whoop back at it and two that IT verbally switches to some broken English words being mimiced back. Which means it responded to them making whoops with F%Cking WORDS! Never heard of that. Also it's my belief that they can base swing on trees 14ft or more apart and conceal their tracks so it you are tracking one expect its trail to disappear or vanish and emerge especially with inclines in topography! look for large rubbings on trees where tracks vanish. Base swinging is a made up term but I theorize that these shots are beyond or concept of fast and would naturally utilize their physical size advantage to use the trees as primary mode of transportation. It's relatively silent, leaves no signs of passing same with water travel, and could be a quite fast alternative to stumbling through the under brush. Also animals that have eyes in the front of their heads and not one on each side are classied as predators, and predators that look down on people from trees that walk around and show them little to no respect (on the food chain level) while listening to their air pods and staring at their Snapchats. Well we are easy prey let's put it that way. These things appear to move around in nomadic family units males might not be in the picture though. I'm curious as to the primatology of it. Is it's a caste system or a pride. Like lions with an alpha male and a gang of bitches or is it like baboons with an entire squad or troop of families together like Indians. IDK but I would love to know more about them.

A voice yelled out at us from deeper in the woods. "Hey you kids are trespassing get over here!" To which my cousin replyed "this is my dad's property I think your confused" and the voice yelled back" your going to disrespect and adult? What would your parents say? Get over here now!" But luckily we weren't good kids that listened to adults we ran inside and told everyone what happened. Our relatives were disturbed by this so flashlights and arms were gathered. A thorough search of the woods was made. they never did find the person who the voice belonged to. Even in small "safe" towns be aware of your children. You don't know who's around.

In the late 70s my grandmother had a small home in the Sierra foothills. My brother and I would sleep outside during summer visits. One night I was woken up to the sounds of cows in the hills. They kind of sounded like cows, but periodically there would be others calls that sounded nothing like cows. It was a very haunting experience. The sounds only lasted about 10 or 15 minutes, but I will here them forever in my mind

That recording is really eerie, I’m a primatologist in training and that definitely sounded like a primate vocalization. Howler monkeys make a similar sound in Central/South America and siamangs make a similar whoop in Asia. The odd human chattering was super creepy though no clue wtf that was! Some animals do make sounds that might resemble humans (like a female fox sounding like a human woman being murdered, but it felt very off and not like any animal we know of today.

I still remember the first time I heard a female fox in heat. My friend and I were in her backyard, which is surrounded by forest, laying on her trampoline looking for UFO's at night. So we were just laying there staring at the sky. All of a sudden, we heard the most awful and scary screaming noise coming from the woods and we were so scared, it took us a good few minutes to get the courage to move and run into the house. We were 5 seconds away from calling the police because it sounded *just* like someone was being murdered or raped in the woods when my friends dad walked by, stuck his ear out the door, looked at us like we were kind of adorable but also kind of dumb, and explained what female foxes sound like. That shit is terrifying!

I've heard these strange sounds by a large group of these things in the deep wilderness of north central Pennsylvania. I was only 14 but I did know about howler monkeys and that is the first thing I thought of but there are no howler monkeys in central PA in the most remote part. Then there was other types of screams and crazy freaky noises and I've never heard and don't know how to explain. And it gets worse because when we hollered at them and asked them to show themselves they just got louder and crazier and started throwing rocks and sticks at us from up this steep hill and maybe from the trees. I almost got killed later by a rock the size of a grapefruit whizzing right past my face. Then later something snapped and knocked down a very large tree. This was with my boy scout group.

I'm seriously creeped out. I used to hear this noises like these on and off when I was a young child until my teen years. Our family spent 6months of every year on the reservation. Our rez was way up north in Canada. The other half of the year was spent in the US so that my parents could work. The elders said it was the "tree people". I grew up hunting out in Swain mountain wilderness in California. I've heard that. When I was little dad would tell me it was a coyote with laryngitis. Once I got older he admitted in all his life living and working in the woods he'd never heard anything like that in his life. He was in his 50s then and we still hunted there and camped at the same spot on robber's creek. Until we moved up north we would hear it a few nights every archery season an dad always said if it dont bother us we aren't bothering them. We did go search for tracks a few times when it sounded like it had been out in the swampy ground the night before and never found any sign aside from deer and raccoons tracks out there. But till he died he said he'd never heard any sound like that in the woods before there. The weird thing was our dog was afraid of it. He'd want in the tent any night it showed up and he had barked at bears and coyotes in the past. That thing he wanted nothing to do with.

@Invalidationcoded
@Invalidationcoded Жыл бұрын
I really don't think they do that. I don't think they're aggressive to humans outright. It's possible they were mimicking elk to try to lure elk, but it's also very possible they were trying to mimic humans because a few of the Native tribes in North America claim to have a historical relationship with Sasquatch. Therefore, the sounds they are making are possible attempts to mimic these Indigenous languages. It's especially moreso likely to be attempts to mimic humans because they RAN over when they saw the fire. And then carefully walked around the camp just outside of the firelight. Therefore suggesting they know exactly what that fire means: humans.

The recording from the hunting camp is almost identical to sounds my father and I heard at a camp near Homer, Alaska in 1965. The sound will haunt you forever.

People act like ape men or Bigfoot aren't real but there was a species of giant ape gigantopethacos ( spelled wrong probably) and other species of giant ape that went extinct not long ago but we cant explore every inch of the forest , a lot of extinct creatures have been discovered again out of all the myhts out there bigfoot is most plausible

That OHH MY GODD AGHHH it made was creepy as hell, it sounded like it was mimicking someone being crushed to death by it.

Ive heard that whooping sound before outside my house at 2 am... it was really loud and scared me.. couldn't see anything outside but I live in a densely populated suburban community with not a lot of wildlife around

I’m obsessed with that recording. I’ve listened to it so many times. It’s very wtf. I live in the Canadian wilderness and I cannot identify those sounds. Spooky.

I love your videos, Ballen! I just have one question about Jim Carter. Weren't there any footprints in the snow? There must have been footprints if Jim was being pursued, especially in snow. 🤔
