The only problem with the jerky that you' eh thought was awful was that 1.) they were from a convenience store and 2.) if you were to buy the jerky in Taiwan when it's been freshly made it'll have a much softer texture . But other than that it was nice seeing Emma in your video and what people who aren't used to Taiwan snacks to see what they thought of them ! Hope what I've said is useful and that if you were to go to Taiwan in the future to taste the ACTUAL jerky that we have to offer, I guarantee that you'll like it a lot better !!!!

The Chinese name for Lonely God is 浪味仙, which translates literally to "Immortal of Unrestrained Taste", but from what I've read up on Chinese websites, they chose lonely because it sounds similar to 浪味 (Mandarin pronunciation is "lang wei", both 4th tone; Taiwanese pronunciation is "long bi", both long tones)

Yes, the jerky is terrible. This Taiwanese agrees. The stench is something you never quite forget even after becoming a vegetarian... Guessing it might have been impossible to send some items due to refrigeration issues, but there are some drinks and snacks that I'm surprised were not sent. First being the pineapple cake (not actually a cake), and second being the ever popular flan. Drink wise, there is definitely the papaya milk, and then the 99+ assortments of tea to try out... ...We're a nation of foodies. It's impossible to deny that. Glad that you enjoyed some of the snacks out of the selection available! :)
