Had these in Australia for ages (yes we know what a sausage roll is down under). Love mine - Cheat a little and use the flavoured sausages from my local butchers just removed the casings. Yummo!

As an American I would certainly consider buying one of those as a McDonald's apple pie maker. Some ideas: Pigs in a blanket (British and American), eggrolls, brookies (brownie batter on the bottom with rolled out cookie dough sheet on top), and chicken cordon bleu. I had covid back in November, but my symptoms were all minor. Stay well, last thing a cook needs is to lose his sense of taste and smell!

They were really popular in a shop called Kmart. Good fillings to try would be feta cheese and Spanish, apple, peach, pear, bake beans, egg, and bacon, spaghetti and tasty cheese. Following weeks of agonising temptation, I weakened and bought a double pie-maker off Jeff's UK store (always a journey into the unknown these days for an EU resident like me). It's 'made' by Schaller, but is exactly the same as the ones sold by loads of other labels (e.g. Hairy Bikers). Anyway, what an epic purchase! Same concept as the sausage roll maker/toaster, but deeper and...well...IT MAKES PIES!!! You so want to try one of these, Barry.

This is so British. As an American in California I have heard of sausage rolls but never seen one in the flesh. They look tasty and filling...very filling.
