Nice dorm gift. Its late may now. And kids are just graduating here in USA. So this little thing good for a dorm. We can get premixed pancake batter in the grocery store. They can keep some in the small fridge. Rolled cookie dough to cut and cook. Precooked sausage patties and eggs in a pourable carton like milk. Yep i can see this. It takes a minute but better and more affordable than takeout and not just microwaved food. Looks like pretty easy clean up as well.

That thing is also great for fried eggs for croissant sandwiches. I use it at least 3 times a week. It is quick simple and easy to use and so easy to clean. I have had mine for 3 years now. Except I use a plastic fork to get stuff out so I don't scratch it.

I have 2 of those from the Nostalgia company it takes less than 5 minutes for super fluffy pancakes we use Bisquick. I've made super fluffy omelettes with veggies meats and cheese, mini pizzas, fried egg with sausage on English muffins, hash browns. None of them take long.

I have something like this it's by Nostalgia and it's a griddle, I believe it has Pancakes on the front. But I got it cuz we wer staying in motel rooms and fast food was messing with our stomachs so we just started making all our food in the room. I haven't got to use this one but I've used the waffle on a lot, the griddles new. And for Christmas I got the mini Bundt one by Nostalgia that's a little cooker. I wish would actually came with recipes or some type of instructions with these things

I use tongs to hold it closed and also to open it. that way I don't get hit with the steam
