There's the British pronunciation and the American pronunciation. Neither are incorrect but remember if it wasn't for Britain America wouldn't have the English language at all!

I'm Australian too. Born and bred in Sydney. I learnt in high school English class (of which I was actually in the top 5 female group for the highest marks for English in my entire year of 250 students for 3 years) that there are many pronunciations to certain words in different regions and none are incorrect. Same as a particular thing is called something else (e.g Rockmelon and Cantelope melon is the same fruit). By today's standards our language is being butchered by abbreviations or text talking or emojis. I'm in my 30's and rarely ever use them.

@@lmaree200886 after doing more research boar bon is mostly the pronunciation of the bourbon monarchy (i heard it pronounced ber bon aswell) and when referring to the alcohol and biscuits it is pronounced mostly as ber bon (also heard it pronounced as boar bon)(ive never heard it hear in Australia pronounced any other way than ber bon) and the people I heard saying the word in my research were all British people so I hope that clarifies my original post a bit

Yes, the name for the whiskey came from that name but because the drink originates from America the name is pronounced in the local American pronunciation These biscuits are British and go by the British pronunciation. Different regional languages and dialects.

Your weather is the same as what I'm experiencing here in Washington state USA. I've lived here 2 yrs and haven't seen any warm days. I guess I could live in the UK and be very content, except I don't know the language. That biscuit looks delicious, I found them on Amazon and just ordered some.
