I love deep fried green beans. Several different restaurants in my area used to serve them. Most had them included in a combo platter. Corn nuggets, popcorn chicken, onion rings, cheese balls, greenbeans, mushrooms, zucchini chips, or deep fried Ravioli. It differed in a few places, through ingredients or fry style.

Hey Barry a little tip to remember for when you’re frying something and want your breading to have a bit more texture or crunchy bits. Add a splash of water or your dredge to your flour it’ll clump together and add some crispy bits to whatever you fry

Adding the breadcrumbs worked brilliantly, if you happen to not have them on hand you might try the dry wet dry method. Light coat of flour then the egg wash then your seasoned flour. That will help hold the coating on a little better.

It's a bit of food science fact that some green vegetables with become greener after being boiled - I think it's because the oxygen in the cells of the vegetables gets released when boiled or something like that.

My favorite sauce containing horseradish is: 2 tbsp ketchup 1 tbsp yellow mustard 3 tbsp Mayo 1 tbsp horseradish Mix all together and adjust for taste. It should be creamy with a small bite of heat. The color should be peachy. Good for fish, shrimp, fries, blooming onion, anything deep fried really.

If you have a coffee grinder once you've wiped it down cleaned it up from when you had coffee in there you can use it to grind spices and it will grind it very fine for you if that's what you're looking for I've done this before you can also use it police some of these Grinders you can use for grinding your own flour if you're in the mood to do so.

Beanus might not be on-board with this, but Greenus certainly is. Speaking of growing green beans yourself, that's what we do. We grew a LOT on our little plot, and it's taking quite some time to eat our way through them. Also, watching the juice shoot out of that one bean (7:33) was an experience.

Barry when dealing with green beans I'm going to tell you what I learned from both my grandmother my mother and as a third Source because I felt this is a bit odd from a certain Italian lady lived above my grandmother and all three did the beans the same way what you do is you break off the end that has that little stem and then you pull it down it literally will take off the hard string that closes the beans when you get to the end it will literally snaps off the tip no need for a knife no need for scissors.

One of the tips I've seen and tried a couple of times before, take some of the egg/milk mixture (only a tspn or 2) and add it to the flour mix and stir/breadcumb the mix, this creates lumps of flour that give a similar breadcrumb texture, and allows for a thicker coating.
