"Countless" is an irresponsible word to use and conjures an image of dozens and dozens of people, so many that one can't even count. The source should've been pushed to give a specific number or estimate. Having watched the first 4 episodes, it's impossible anyone could've been hospitalized due to food/water deprivation in that time because it's so far all been onsite and only a few days. Given there are just 50 or so contestants remaining in the season, if any of those people end up being hospitalized in the remainder of the episodes, it is highly probable it would be a single digit number of people, and therefore not "countless".
