The poet uses a collection of different quotes from other places to act as literary references, this is likely to indicate that these specific quotes are important and should be remembered carefully. Additionally the use of the rap form further emphasises this as the song becomes more memorable and, in turn, so do the various quotes. (I could keep going but I won’t)

The mighty power of a kamikaze pilot, a war photographer, a traumatized war solider, a mother left behind by her son, a doomed member of the light brigade and a running soldier seamed in hot khaki. This 2 minutes and 1 second of my life has been so densely packed with revelations after revelations that I am starting to wonder if even the fabric of reality itself is in fact constructed from some interstellar mark scheme, judging pitiful humanity by grade boundaries and assessment objectives like pawns. I just wanna say thank you for all the quotation songs/raps you put out and the explanations as well as all the language question walkthroughs. On my last mock I got 53/96 in literature paper 2 (5) but then moved to 69/96 (7). Ended up getting best in my middle set class (so I didn’t have great expectations) for lit and for language moved from 52 (7) to 61 (9) and got third best in the class so just want to say thank you for all the hard work you put in uploading the videos to help people like me.
