Never think about when I die. Think of today and add worship in life, leave wrong habits, do for the well being of others. When a person fulfils home responsibilities with right earning and spendings and doing for well being of others and spends time alone at home worshipping for the longing to get to speak to the one he or she worships. Surely gets to. The day you get to to speak to God. You will have no worry about next life. Because you will be shown your next life during worship. I spent years, without worship knowing God is in existence. I thought about great beyond which made me feel after death what more could it be, but heaven awaiting for me. As I died, and found punishments from grave that began, as I completed years of punishments were punishments of different life forms awaiting me. Because polygamy, intoxicants nor worship, no longing in life to speak to God. Everything else had been part of life, what life was lives without meaning? Intoxicants can make you think forgiveness and heaven are only two things. If so, why is there hell and different life forms as punishments and why punishments of grave? God alone is eternal. He who created a being called human from nonnexistence into existence. And human started to think himself to be eternal. That which can be created from non existence into existence, cannot be put back into non existence? Thought and pride of human , makes you forget God is the one who chooses. Human should be willing to live innocent life, and have self willingness to get to speak to God. Surely same God is kind, merciful, living, forgiving when He sees reason you left habits was due to longing to get to speak to Him. Why will He ever disappoint you? But, living a life of polygamy, betraying wife, causing hurt, harm, grief, loss to any why will God forgive? He is a righteous God, though kind and forgives many little mistakes. If while living you get to speak to God, you will will have no worry about next life. Eternal is God. Not my soul. Never let the thought of soul being eternal misguide you.

Brick Top I think you will have to reborn a couple of more times to understand a thing or two my friend. Let me explain: whether you believe in the afterlife or not, yes you are basically crying for yourself at someone’s passing. If there’s an afterlife there’s no need to cry over aforementioned dead person as they are already at peace. They are with God and at one with the universe. They are home. Now, if there’s no afterlife there’s no need to cry either because the dead person is not suffering anymore, they are dead. Whatever bad stuff they went through, it is over. They ceased to exist. So yes, you are crying over your own loss. You are feeling sorry for yourself because that person is not in your life anymore. I know it sounds very cold and logic-driven and we usually don’t operate like this in emotionally charged situations. Of course you loved them and it is natural to cry for them and it can be heartbreaking, but please understand that you are ultimately crying for yourself.

I just know it's said she hanged herself but I don't know all the facts. Not long after I found out about her death, this video was in my recommended video. I then found out she had a book of Rumi writings. I also noticed butterflies gathering on a bush by my window and some would fly to me. One morning I was watching the news and a white feather fell down from the ceiling in front of me.

The story goes: When Rumi met Shams-E-Tabrizi (His Master) Shams threw all of Rumi's books into the river, then retrieved them undamaged. The point was, you will not find God in books. You have to meet a master. Shams knew of Rumi years before they met, he approached Rumi only when he was ready to be enlightened. When the disciple is ready the Master appears!

This is so solemn, sublime, sad... yet uplifting and graceful. It makes me grateful to Allah SWT for the life He has given. Alhamdulillah. Ya Allah, please make us all good on earth and then give us Jannah... Aamiin

This poem reminds me of a former bf who died this year in June. He got hospitalized with a heart condition but he contracted COVID. I can’t believe he’s gone. He was so successful and very well seen in his community. He was a good person. During my journey through depression, I always prayed that I want to go. I was really ready to exit. I felt my life was useless and I think it was. I never understood why God took other people and not me. I had a crazy, tumultuous and depraved life. I don’t understand why he kept me.

Maybe, but he was a Seljuk, maybe a turk. The reason he was called Rumi is he went to Konya, trying to escape some authority. Rumi in this sense meant Roman=west. Yet under Seljuk control, a capital as a matter of fact.

when I think of my mama's recent passing ....my grandma C's passing.....my father who will soon pass.....I am drawn here as it comforts me. However, the person reading these words, their voice is extremely soothing, and combined with the music and images...it all makes for a very peaceful way to drift off...to calm down and become centered. It feels as if he is talking to me while lying beside me at night before I fall asleep....it becomes extremely intimate.......i love it all

Real unconditional love for all human beings needs a total loss, difficult how it is, the soul remembers .....it is not MY father mother, child etc, we are expressions of life in time and space and interconnected, it is a big challenge to love and forgive all. After death we are consumers of love given, here on earth we are producers of love, supporting and slowly transforming our lower fysical density. The freedom we experience is enormous, we can grow and slowly approaching our own divinity, thats why courageous souls choose to come back,to accelerate earth evolution !!!!
