No nothing, I think as you simply unhook the cables from the flap and remove, but leave the sensor, it wont throw any codes.,

Plan was to get it revved on the1st part of this video, but as you can tell the 1st part cut off early, that's because the battery on the camera ran out during filming! totally my fault and a shame, but hopefully it's still helpful 😁

@@Budget-Cars-And-Bikes You said you need to remove the bottom covers and remove the bowden cable from the back as well. You can easily open the flap motor housing, unscrew the plate that holds the bowden cables, remove the bowden cables, screw the plate back on, leave the cables there, reassemble the housing. So the easiest is 3 screws. If I am not wrong you did some more screws :)

@@bltzbrg yes I get that, but from talking with Aprilia tech guys, it's better to totally remove the cables, and there have been reports of them getting tangled after just unfixing them at one end, and leaving them in there.
