My adopted son “ do you want to know your natural parents?” When he was 12, when he was sixteen, when he was 18, and each time he said NO. You are my dad and mom is my mother. I’m really proud of him!

Knowing and using a wider variety of words is such a tremendous handicap to creating experiences made exclusively of words. And anyone who speaks in a different style from you is so clearly issuing a challenge and insult to your intelligence. It's a good thing you took them down a peg, completely unprompted. Your silence might have made you seem insecure.
@TheTrueUlfhednar
@TheTrueUlfhednar 3 жыл бұрын
@@existenceisrelative I'm... Not sure if you're doing parody or actually the Thesaurus Deepthroating type there. And I think that's a good sign of parody, but that last line is just... Too close to reality. If you are the latter kinda person, mate chill. Larger words don't make you more intelligent. Being able to express your ideas concisely and clearly do. If you're making fun of em, damn. Had me fooled! Kudos!

There actually is a really wholesome story on one of these channels (could very well be on this one. Maybe you were already thinking of that one). About some guy who see corpses. Had some Irish folklore things called Dullahans in it too I think. If you haven't already heard it, maybe I could try to find the video and link it if you're still interested after a year (or anyone who sees this).

The Girl In The Rain has stuck with me since my first comment I made about it. Even though I predicted it from James' dream, it still hurt seeing it happen nonetheless. The writing up to that point gave me hope that it could have somehow worked out but it serves as a cold reminder we don't always get happy endings. Light spoiler, my only critique is having her apologize so sadly just to sadistically smile at him the next day really muddied up whether or not she really was sorry.

There is no more talented narrator on this platform than MCP. The believable naturalism of the acting paired with the sophisticated understanding of these stories puts this guy leagues above so many storytellers of so many mediums of entertainment. Before the last story, you were doing a commercial and talking fast. You also sounded excited, pause as the commercial ended, then your voice, "I don't feel so good" as you began the last story. Such a change that I laughed, a bit too loud. Woke up my neighbor, (I live in an apartment) explained my laughter to my grumpy neighbor, (it IS 9:37 P.M.) Still laughing, I went back into my apartment to listen some more. VERY funny.....to me that is! :)

Man I can relate so hard to that feeling of finding out you’re being cheated on when you think you’re relationship is doing well and that feeling of having messages and faces burnt into your mind and seeing them in your dreams and any time you’re with the person seeing flashbacks of those messages and wondering what else they were talking about and what they did together and it killing you inside and I know the feeling of thinking things are gonna get better with that person just to find out again and it’s just as bad as the first time the only difference is I’ve never hurt any one but myself in those situations but it’s devastating and I still have issues with seeing those pictures and messages even though I left those people years ago

The series Tales from a gas station is my absolute favorite that MCP has done hands down!!!

One of my favorite lines from the series is: “Jerry’s aura was multicolored, a sort of contained chaos, like a Picasso swirling in a blender.” -From the Mayfly Halloween Incident

The first story is so insanely real and visceral for me, I’m dealing with a cheating spouse, and so much of how he feels is relatable, and I’ve honestly been afraid of hurting him in a way I can’t take back, I’m trying to heal and make it work but the first story is my actual nightmare that I’ve run through my head a dozen different ways. This is not a criticism btw the story was amazing my written and good story telling brings up emotion. Good or bad.

I really wanted him to confront the girl in the rain. Needed to know her final intent. Was she just toying with him? Was it a primal need to feed? I needed to know her intentions.

Honestly i think id become a murderer for the girl in the rain, instead of letting her feed off me. Id bring her people, the first rain of every spring. I know the attraction i would feel is probably just her method of hunting, lure in prey and feed of them, but as a touch starved lonely person i used to be id fall for it hook line and sinker, but also not entirely

Yes we make it to the other side of being a 'touch starved lonely person,' while being safely guarded with those who Earn, Deserve what we to offer.

Well shit. $400 is $400. I don't care how creeped out I'd be, I'm taking that deal. As long as no harm comes to me and my loved ones/friends etc. Keep the money river flowing.

I don’t really get what the big deal is in that first story; the cheating woman got the appropriate response I’d say.

Did you get that she wasn’t cheating the second time, that it was a misunderstanding?
