Royal Enfield is a bit of an Indian legend, very much as much of the culture as free roaming cows and curry. I bought a RE Himalayan in Iowa, rode it through the Midwest and the South into Mexico, a passage of 4,000 miles. At many of the hotels I stopped at much of the staff was Indian. I would get comments like, "Is that a Royal Enfield Himalayan ? Please sir, park it out front, we will keep an eye on it for you!" I'd park someplace, and if there was an Indian passing by and saw me, or if I was at a gas stop, I'd always get questions. One I met at a campground made me wait while he went to get his children so they could see it. They were born in the US, and didn't know what an RE was I guess. Apparently his father had once had a Bullet at one time or something. Looking forward to see more of these videos.

I dont know if anyone else pointed out, the bike on the first floor is indeed Interceptor from 50s .. the third lever you saw on the right side is the neutral finder, you press it once, the bike is back to neutral no matter which gear you are in at.. at that particular moment. There is also the story of those hanging motorcycles, apparently these RE bikes were dropped from the sky by parachutes attached to them directly into the warfield for the soldiers. Thats what the whole ceiling represents. The battlefield and the planes dropping these bikes.

The mini bullet is a 200cc 2 stroke motorcycle that was built by Madras Motors in the 1980s. In the 1970s Madras motors only had the rights, and the tooling, to build the bullet 350 and 500. They were caught lacking new models in their lineup when the Japanese entered the Indian market with their zippy small displacement 2 stroke bikes. Royal Enfield had already closed down their business in England and Madras motors were not able to acquire the tooling and designs for making smaller 2stroke bikes like the continental GT 250 and Crusader to compete with the Japanese. So they had to form desperate partnerships with Eastern European motorcycle makers to build smaller 2 stroke bikes. The mini bullet is one of the several 2 stroke bikes that came out of these partnerships. These bikes were however not as refined or reliable as the Japanese bike and never sold well.

On a Saturday or Sunday it is heaving with bikes, somewhere north of 500+ so I am told. They also do bike nights during the week, plus other events. There's also camping and caravanning places available. Maybe when you get back you could check it out and make a vlog of it. Call it: 'A walk around in Yorkshire', or something like that, lol.

It was a dream for me to drive the bike and l always looked like an ant on a elephant i drove this. My Dad wears full dhoti(Tamilian) and Jibba(a henely neck style shirt). that little thing near the gear lever 12:23 is called neutral finder that was a patented technology my Royal Enfield all the Cast iron Bullet and Cast Iron Interseptor 700 Meteor 700 Constellation 700 and Bullet 500/350s all had that. The work of it was to quickly change from any gear to neutral. That thing just eliminated the chanced of getting false neutral. and the kick starters there were very light as of a feather if you know how to use the decompressor otherwise it would just throw back the whole torque of the engine to kicker and then to your leg

09:15 Just a heads up, incase you plan to travel across India, some cities are in the process of establishing laws against giving money away to beggars. This is to combat human trafficing and forced begging, so you might want to refrain from giving money away to people begging on roads and junctions. You may still buy goods from them, but you might want to check the law of the city/state before doing so.
