Brilliant as usual Darren. Seeing and hearing those HSTs took me back to standing on the platforms at Burnham and Slough in the '80s. That rumble and scream was both terrifying and exhilarating to a ten year old. Who'd have thought a train video could make you so emotional?

Great stuff again Daz, loving the HST action, looking forward to the Valenta group getting one of them deafning beasts on the mainline again, i hated them in the late 70's, most 55 fans did, but love em now, also loved the rest of the Blue traction, nice one mate. :-)

Like all of the UKs railway stations buildings etc, Kettering is a very beautiful piece of British Railway architecture I love the white canopies and curved platforms! I also love seeing the BR liveries of the rolling stock in particularly the IC 125s Classes 47, 56 the DMUs etc all of it!

Luckily it's kept a lot of its character now despite the overhead wires - sadly the traction these days doesn't have the same appeal.

Apart from my visit to the Lickey the weather's not been kind to me on my days off lately, so it's given me the chance to work on converting the hours(days!)of footage i've got on video. Rest assured though, there are some 'current' movies to come very soon from Cossington, Frisby, and Marholm - plus whatever's round the corner in the next few weeks...................
