Dear Mike, love the way you configured the area in the back, next to the grain elevator. Very cool how those structures with their details at the backend open up the scene. Also the houses on the opposite side of road look awesome. Even though you didn’t pay much attention to the scrap yard, other than saying it’s coming together, it truly is indeed. Simply beautiful how you stacked the cars. Makes the scene look its part and very believable! Cheerio

Now THAT is a LAYOUT! Love that monster junkyard starting at 6:15. In other news, MTL has finally made available the late ATSF cabooses, with proper large cupola windows, circa 1980. I've been looking for one with those windows for 5 years . They are way too shiny; badly in need of some Dullcote and road dust, but that goes for most rolling stock.

Hi ya Mike. My absolute new favorite area is the auto salvage/scrap yard area. I really liked the overhead view of the mountain area. I don’t believe you have shown it that way before. Thanks for the running session. A question…..I know you have told us before…..what are the dimensions of the train shed again? Thanks in advance for your reply. And happy Independence Day to you and yours. See ya.

At cpkc yard where I work, there is a cattle yard and cattle auction, a old abandoned concrete elevator was a flour mill with a single dome tank car (1940s) on blocks for fuel oil or something.
