I have a FIN number instead of VIN visible in the FEC/SWAP code. Should I use the FIN number (that contains the symbol of a pound "£") or VIN number when adding FEC/Swap codes?

How should i check which MIB my car has? It is skoda 2018 optimal. There some terms like MIB2 MIBhig etc

Your videos are always great thank you I have an issue. I have updated my head unit from MIB 1 to MIB 2. Everything could work and the app connect was available but CP was active. I want to the dealer and they removed CP but now App Connect doesn't work (needs a code), Bluetooth is not working, Telephone and voice control are not working When i go to the installed codes, all of them are showing "temporarily invalid". I then went to your other video for installing SWap/Fec codes. I was able to get the correct VCRN number on my OBD 11 but the VIN is incorrect. My original car VIN is not working. The VIN from the "temporarily invalid" codes is also not working. Please assist

Hi, why in my golf 7.5 if i check in FEC SWaP i don t see any code in supported code? But only in installed code... my unit is HARMAN MIB 2.5

MHIG/MHI2 units don't have those codes listed in "supported" section. That's normal. Not sure why is that. Maybe they all support everything, not like MST2 units with different functionalities.

Hello, when I install the code I generated it shows up as not valid. Why is that?

Self-generated codes don't have valid signature. If you want to use them, you need to patch the system first so it ignores the signature.
