I also tried to update my MIB2 high, without to update to the latest firmware. I have the required activation code 023000ee added with MIB as shown in your video, also got the “No valid update data…” Is it mandatory to have the latest firmware installed??

@@tommyk8956 Went for it, and via green engineering menu activated the SWdl manual option, and then went to red engineering menu from which chose update, which resulted in map updates now being visible. Manually selecting the updates, don’t select the boot option, and then again running update. This worked wonders and now have the 2025 maps installed.

@ meanwhile I updated the MMI to the latest avail, but I had to go to GEM to activate/install AIO patches again to enable the 023000ee key as it was “illegal” after update and my navigation and maps were unavailable and gave smthng like “no maps available” error on the MMI.

As mentioned I had to do it via the GEM and REM. Done that way it didn’t change anything in the permits, and all works like a charm.

Hello! My activation key is 0230003f, for 2025 database is it good? I just did the test and insert the SD card, it recognized and said it is navigation database of 2025. All good or that activation key will give me problems after? Some people say its valid till 2030, not sure. My current database is 2017. Thank yyou

UPDATE: All solved. Maps are extremly sensitive on the way you formated your sd card and unpacked the maps. You have to format it with DiskGenius to be sure its correct and then download the maps on a PC (NOT Mac) and unpack it with 7-zip, no other software! Thanks for a great work and very clear and detailed instructions. I have the same MMI and setup as you with the same versions etc. I have followed all of your videos and done the MMI FW update, installed M.I.B and done the AIO patch. Now when I will update the maps to 2024 I get an error message in the REM saying "NavDB_Check", Eggnog_Check, Truffles_Check and Speech_Check" all of these have Timeouts and error on the last screen says "E15" for all of these except DB says "F". Do you have input/help on this?

(A5 2017 with MHI2Q) Problem now, is North Africa's nor specifically Morocco's are nowhere to be found for mhi2q. Available to download from mib-helper for MST2 (RoW (MRM3: AUS+NZ, Africa)), and for MHI3 ( North Africa (NA)) Was wondering if there was a way, to kinda convert those maps to be used in MHI2...

It’s not a matter of activation as the 3rd party solution literally copied Google earth Server contents and is providing a SW update that makes your MMI look for the Google earth data on their mirror Server rather than Google’s own. So you can only do it with them.

Audi can read sd card up to 32GB, right? But those files can't fit to that memory card, every sd card I bought is arround 29GB but for maps needed 29.6 GB. Is there any workaround? thank you

no, it can read SDXC cards which are up to 2TB. I'm personally using 128GB card for media files without an issue.

Changing radio frequencies is simple (just a quick coding adjustmet). If you want EU maps and EU langauges, you need to perform full system conversion.

Cześć. Audi a4b9, 02300ee mam legal więc powinno być ok. Ale pobieram mapę, formatuję kartę na fat32, kopiuje na nią zawartość rozpakowaną aktualizacji map, daje do slot1 i nic. Nie rusza. Nawet nie podświetla mi się ta opcja. Zarówno z menu aktualizacji jak i z czerwonego menu. Co robię nie tak ?
