Not to me but I still have a fresh pair of og’s from 2016 which I prefer. Definitely a classic colorway and one of my all my time favorites ! Luckily for me I hit on a size 9 on FTL app raffle and dumped it Saturday 6:30 am nyc time before I even picked em up for a very healthy profit. My only complaint is that I couldn’t hold em amd/or hit on another pair , I don’t get paid for another 2 weeks and I was outta work the entire month of July so I had to sell. Wish I could’ve held.

Idk if they are worth $1000. I’ve never paid nor will I ever pay that kind of money of a pair of sneakers. Just won’t do it. With that being said, I, fortunately, got lucky and hit on SKRS in my size 8.5 (10W) I was extremely surprised. I don’t own the 2016 Black Toe which I’ve always wanted so winning these was a plus whether they resell for $1000 or less. I buy to keep, not resell because I’m a sneaker lover. Some may find that stupid considering I paid retail and can easily $1000 for it but it is what it is. Also had to add, the satin in not just on the red, it’s also in the black liner inside the shoe. Whether you want to pay resell or not, I think it’s still a dope shoe with a premium finish.

My issue is, so-called "men's" sneakers don't exclude women, especially since the women's size is often times listed on the box. So all a "women's" release does is exclude some men, what's the point of that? Either way I'm good with my 2016 Black Toes.

i was fortunate enough to cop for retail via snkrs. my 2013 BTs are still SUPER fresh as i haven't worn them too much over the years. my 2016 BT still on ice and who knows when i'll even get around to rocking those. all that said, considering the resale price and the fact that i have 2 pairs of REAL BTs, these satins will eventually be sold off. i am looking forward to comparing the quality of these satins to my 2016 pair... but either way u slice it, satin BTs are NOT worth $1k. period.
