i find this movie great, this really shows you as much as you might want to forget you can't escape you're past, seeing mel how she grew up in kind of poor way i guess maybe middle class and tried to better herself by making herself upper class it was nice seeing her go back and rediscover what she loved about where she grew up

Which is so unfortunate since he's so charming in this genre and I was so certain that back in 2002, we all want to see more of Josh Lucas in these kinda roles.

@@jasmineunsworth5339 this is what I think happened I think she didn't know what she wanted she been divorced for a while and she met Andrew and he grew a liking to her but it's like she said at the ending of the movie you don't want to marry me saying that she gave her heart away a long time ago which was meaning to Jake you know someone took her heart her whole heart a long time ago and I think it was the fact that Melanie truly did not know what she wanted I think she thought she was in love with Andrew but see what it came down to it her sign the divorce papers she realized at that moment that she was still in love with Jake I think she realized that she was still not over Jake at least that's what I think But this is just my opinion, but I'm also divorced giving an opinion about what I think happened about a break up and a get back together. Lol

U could say there was a few times in the movie that it could have been a turning point for Melanie to finally realizethat she was still not over Jake.
