I just brought mine yesterday and tested it by cooking a frozen lasagne, which in a normal oven takes an hour. So far, so good. In one hour, the lasagne came out perfect. Hot both in the INSIDE as well as the OUTSIDE.

Love mine. Read the cleaning instructions. I made pork boneless barbecued country ribs. I cleaned the pan of baked on grease / sauce by soaking it in the sink after spraying it with Gain Power Blast spray on dish soap. After soaking an hour it cleaned up easily. I of course put the ribs in a glass baking dish and not directly on the provided baking pan itself.

That tray that is so hard to clean? Is it vented? Holes in it? If so, it is very necessary that it NOT be covered with foil to allow the necessary circulation needed to cook properly.

Thanks for this review. I was leaning to a cuisinart air fryer but you have answered my question. I was at walmart yesterday and with all its tray packed, I wasn't able to figure out if the cocoking tray could slid in just above the bottom heating element and you pretty showed it @ 02.17.

So tell me, I don’t own a air fryer. If I put a bowl of soup in a microwave to heat up, how do you do that in an air fryer? Do I still need my microwave?
@MrGizmo2116 ай бұрын
@@donnstrabala5240 yes - you need a microwave for heating up soup etc. Air fryer is good for oven type things but quicker and better :)
@murahkami5 ай бұрын
You can put your soup in an oven safe container like stainless steel or glass(avoid aluminum foil) and heat it up like you would in an oven.. You may need to play around with the temp and times though. Heating up food in the microwave is actually very unhealthy because of how it alters the molecules of the food/nutrients. It also has non ionizing radiation which is not good.
@Mountainsongbird123 күн бұрын
I agree w/ the below comment about microwaves and radiation. I never use a microwave anymore myself. You have to retrain your brain to realize that people were able to live without microwaves once upon a time and you can too. Just put the soup in a stainless steel pot on the stove - the old fashion way and warm it up. Easy and doesn’t take long🙂

Can this replace a microwave?
@MrGizmo2114 ай бұрын
We definitely use it more then our microwave. Depends what you eat. Microwave is still great for heating foot that you don’t care is crisp :)!
@Mountainsongbird123 күн бұрын
If you teach yourself how to replace a microwave, you can definitely replace it. Remember people lived for centuries without microwaves. It takes a little longer sometimes but with a little patience it’s entirely possible. It just takes some brain retraining and experimenting. And don’t forget- there’s the stove top for stuff also🙂

I've been using this one for about 5 months now and its not very good. It burns the food in the back, unless you rotate your food. I make alot of frozen cookies that came out crunchy on the outside and soft in the middle with my old air fryer, but NOT in this one. The ones in the back burn. They just don't come out right at all. My machine has a huge gap in the door! More than what I've seen in others vids. The handles do get hot. And even tho it comes with a recipe book, I really didn't like many of them. It's hard to know if you should cook on air fry or convection oven. Like for example, casseroles. I always have to guess and I never know which pan to use or what shelf, so I find myself constantly having to search for those answers, that I have come to find out gourmia doesn't answer. Don't use foil, use parchment paper. The pans are very hard to clean, unless you don't have a problem with massive scrubbing. Anything left on the pan will continue to burn and smoke if you don't get it all off before your next use. There's NO light, so if I want to check my food without opening the doors and pulling it out I have to shine a flashlight in to see. Also the 8x8 pan casseroles I've made took way longer than in a reg oven with a 9X13 pan.

Is there ANYTHING good about this model?
@sharonmcdonald17613 ай бұрын
@kayp6321 well I'm still using it for 7 months now as I don't have a choice. My salmon always comes out really good. I just use the air fry on seafood and put the timer between 15 to 20 mins depending on how big my piece is. Also I quit doing the pre-made frozen cookies since they never came out right and make mine from scratch and turn my pan hslfway thru and those come out really good.
