Hey Everybody watching "This guy", Let me tell yall the dirt on him! He's the king of guy that actually has the sheer NUTZ to "Do the right thing, even when nobody's looking"! He sent me some ammo that was early out of the gate. I had some issues. I reached out to him because we had actually spoken on the phone before when he called me for a question I posed he found Hilarious. He thought that his ammo MIGHT have been the problem. I said Hey, do you want me to send you the ammo back? He remained silent and just asked for my address. 4-5 days later the "Replacement" ammo showed up. INTEGRITY above all else. So yea, I'm running off at the mouth (or keyboard as it were) about this guy. Customer for LIFE!!!! Robert, you da man!

Another great video! Love your real world testing of your offerings for every airgun you test. I think I'm seeing alot of people confused about what this airgun represents. This is a PDW, plain and simple. It could be used to ethically take game out to 150yds, as I'm confident the forthcoming tests will show... but you only need one shot for that. This was meant to offer something else, an air powered PDW, capable of defending against multiple targets quickly and decisively. Great video

Was wondering what the advantage is to shooting 45 caliber stuff, when one can shoot .357 in similar bullets weights with better BC thus flatter trajectory, and less of an air hog? Also bigger bores louder? Would get spoiled quickly to shooting the semi-auto. Great advantage in target rich environment. Thanks for sharing.
@wildrangeringreen2 жыл бұрын
bigger hole and more damage than the smaller bore (provided you can hit the animal properly), so you don't have to rely on a hollow point actually working when the bullet gets there (my experience, along with the experiences of countless hunters (some of them basically lived to hunt- like Sir Samuel Baker) over the last 160 years has shown me that they aren't all that reliable (as far as doing what they are intended to do) in actual living things). That being said, a .36 projectile of reasonable weight will kill anything in North America. Big bores are also more efficient on pressure (they gain more velocity for a given pressure, provided the air volume is there to make up for the increased bore volume), due to less frictional losses on the barrel wall and more surface area to push against on the bullet base than a smaller bore. That's how Girandoni and others (going all the way back to the late 1400's) were able to shoot 146gr (.45) and 200gr (.51) round balls at around 600-750 fps with only 800 psi in the tank (all their mfg technology would allow then) (plus they were using timed valves, something virtually unheard of in modern air guns). The commonality of using small bore (less than .50) guns (firearms and airguns) for everything is a fairly modern idea, brought on (in the .36-.50 range) firstly by the widespread adoption of bullets (vs balls) in the 1840's and then later (in the 1880's) by the adoption of smokeless powder (to overcome the massive inefficiencies of very small bores). Companies adopted smaller and smaller bores in air guns to stay current with firearm marketing, and to make the guns cheaper to shoot; despite them being less effective in the smaller bores.

they really dont matter,, the best platform will be at 357 and it is the western rattler slugs power ,, you need 15 to 17 shots no reloading no adjusting sight up and keep shoot , , i have the the sk-19 in 30cal,......... it blows away my pit-bull bulldog in 357 and my 457 texan,, yes there more powerful thats about it ,. the features on the sk-19 and even better the western rattler as it can shoot slugs accurate makes it the best gun

Hey great review. I've been tinkering around with some 357. Slugs for several years now I'm an aerodynamics engineer. How can send you some slugs for review? I am doing chronograph testing on my channel. Accuracy too. I don’t have his ammo yet but in the future I plan on it. I am using my own but the weight will be similar. That should show fpe close enough to see what it is doing in the field. I found the heavy slugs had wider groups. I have found 190-250 fpe so far. 190 fpe with a 170 grain slug. Mine has been shy of 300 fpe from every weight so far.
