The Sumatra is a great slug shooter. I’ve been shooting slugs out of mine for quite some time at 103 FPE. Thanks for sharing.

Any idea on barrel cleaning for the 25 Sumatra ? Looks like a pain in the butt to take barrel out only other way is from the muzzle and everyone says don’t do that ? Thanks Mr HP your the best !!!
@Mrhollowpoint15 жыл бұрын
Brass cleaning kit and some rem oil will do fine. Your not scrubbing burnt powder and copper residue so industrial strength cleansers are not needed.

Mr. Vogel, greedings from Germany to you and your dog Fritz! My Airgun loving boyfriend is very sad, that he can´t buy your great products...

I ship to Germany, it's not a problem at all.

I guess under german resrictions, which are not the greatest. 7.5 Joule v0 is the highest energy, we are allowed to use here... Thanks for your answer :) @@thequigley72

103 fpe??? Factory says only 80 fpe.. This gun wasn't tuned, right? How can it hit so much harder?
@johnnymagness93825 ай бұрын
I know this is a very late reply but, the 57gr slug is more mass than the stated FPE projectile was. Also, the Korean gun makers are conservative in their power estimations, unlike some gun makers that shoot a light projectile and state "1300 fps" knowing with actual led pellets it's 950 fps. Lastly, the twist rates on these guns like some projectiles over others. Well-made slugs done by people like Mr. Vogel that understand twist rates are going to have more power because they are made with those considerations. Hope this answers your question. Sumatra's are some of the best airguns ever produced. I've owned a number of them and have a 25 cal right now. If you were to leave me with just one, the Sumatra 25 is that one. With the power wheel, I could use light pellets and hunt for days or weeks on small game. If I "had" to hunt for food and went after bigger game, there's enough power for at least deer sized game. (I'm not advocating use of 25 cal for deer, only if I had just one gun and hunting is the only way to get meat).

it looks a total badass but since it produces the same mussle energy as a .22 i would just buy a .22

Peter Kelly I’m in the process of trying to buy a power tuned one from someone so we will see how it goes. I always wanted one of these little powerhouses.. I’m in the process of building a altra long range 308 out of my Texan now ..will probably be my next video , but if I get that samatra I will make one on it ,,, thanks,,

Kevin Alt thanks for the reply Kev. I have the Sumatra in .25 and it loves the JSB King heavies the best. I run a Hawke Air Max and it groups 1/2” at 50. Just tuned the trigger as per the manual. ATB mate
