NBA Uniform History | Miami HEAT

Hello and welcome back to my NBA Uniform history series where I go over the entirety of the NBA team in the videos uniform history, such as throwback uniforms, ABA uniforms, and current day uniforms. The reason I started this type of video is because I believe the documentation of the uniforms and jerseys used by teams is currently awful. I can't find any lists online of what specific teams wore what, who wore what, what Champion jerseys were made for that team, etc. I have decided to make a video series fixing this and showing off all jerseys for specific teams.
In this video, I talk about the Miami HEAT. This includes every single jersey in the HEAT history, dating all the way back to its inception, 1988. I talk about the original jerseys, the current day jerseys, the Floridian throwbacks, the Red Zone jerseys, the Back in Black jerseys, the White Hot jerseys, the Championship Gold jerseys, the Christmas Day uniforms, the Noche Latina El Heat jerseys, the Black Tie, the White Tie, the Legacy, and the Home Strong uniforms. I also talk about when the teams wore certain throwbacks.

The Heat do really come out with the best jerseys I like the all black ones with the white trim and the white tie ones and I've always been partial to red alternates.

Awesome! I recently bought a 1988 home gamer of Billy Thompson and a Tim Hardaway Red like the one you have on from Mitchell & Ness because I, too, love that eras style. The red is my favorite, too! I also own a black Harold Minor from the early 90's. Good stuff man!

You missed the very first latino nights black jersey from March 2007 with word "MIAMI" in the front and a line flags on the side instead of the white stripe. Other than that, you did a great job.

And now we have 4 different Miami vice jerseys (White Vice, Black Nights, alt. Sunset Pinks, and Vice Wave) Miami's city edition jerseys have to be among the best even though they are mostly color swaps.

one of the main reasons they haven't changed their uniform design, since they moved to their new arena American Airlines Arena back 1999 it's one of the best uniform design, to Miami Heat has the best design jerseys in the NBA

theres just one detail u skipped the red alternate had TWO versions - 95/96 version was a fire red and mesh material whereas the 98/99 was a darker shade and dazzle material

Theres a mistake in this video, unless im misunderstanding but you said that the heat in 15-16 never wore the red alternate jerseys at 12:33. That isnt true they wore them many times one being, in detroit late in the season and also at knicks

Ah, my bad on that one. I was using this site as a reference - www.nba.com/heat/1516-jerseys/legacy/ - and it actually doesn't feature the red alternates on there other than the latina's. Thats why I thought that. good eye!
