Love this! Also for moons play structure; it would be so cool to carry the hut theme out there and incorporate some dried palms and coconuts and surf boards. Paint it a variety of colors to match the interior of the house! Or make it feel like an aquarium?! No matter what I'm sure it will be amazing!

Great ideas! The dried palm fronds, and coconut shells. Hey, maybe make a shell game as part of the play space! Or you could put a lot of shells on it, and incorporate counting in the play. Also, a telescope, for night play, or spying on Mom and Dad.

Way to go Joey😄. A gorgeous room. Serene, calm, dreamy. As for a cute play structure - having worked with children for 10 years, it’s my firm believe that ‘cuteness’ is not an important feature, when it comes to providing an enviroment that’s conducive to good play- oppotunities for kids. What is important is providing stuff, material that they can actually DO something with. Sticks, branches, mud, water, old cardboard boxes so they can build their own huts. Stuff that make their imagination and creativity come to life.

That sandy play area is so lovely. The only thing I could think of was to change the colors from primary to the same pastels that you are using in your house. I would also like to see a bit of a Swiss family Robinson feel. With a tree house, and ropes and mechanisms for transporting water and materials up to the trees. Most of this can wait for Moon to get older and he can create, imagine and invent it himself. Way to go Joey. You cannot be around such a creative wife without it having a good affect on you. This was great! I loved seeing Joey take charge on the creative end. One suggestion about making your bed first thing in the morning though...you should actually let your bed air out 1 to 2 hrs (minimum) before making your bed. The exposure helps not only reduce a hospitable environment for dust mites but also helps deodorize any body oils and skin cells that have been shed during the night. If you sweat, this is even more important! Just wanted to share....from someone who grew up making their bed EVERY morning right away (military brat and veteran). ;)
