Working in an ER one day I had to transfer an 80 year old dementia patient. He was asleep so we reached out to pick him up using the bed sheets. He woke up and sent a left hook right to my jaw. He pulled the punch just as it connected and sternly said “get your hands off me”. So hard to explain, but the punch was mild while also making me see stars. I realized the raw power that he still had from a lifetime of hard work and boxing. He could have cleaned my clock 8 days a week no sweat. This is how I see Pete and Bas. They are the real deal. Not OG rappers, but OG men. They talk tough because they can whoop anyone else and have probably proved it many times throughout their lives.

My buddies grandpa thought his nurse was robbing him at his retirement home because he was losing his valuables slowly, so while the guy was in the room he put his vintage watch in the bedside drawer and layed awake at night. He didn’t have the power anymore to knock out a grown man in his eighties, but the thief quit his job.

Mr L BOYD I have been watching your reactions and commentary for a time and I love what perspectives you bring. I'm old, don't know everything but my ancient dad taught me a thing or two about music. Now I love watching the musical discovery of others. Cheers.

Gotta look up The Northern Boys. They're a group of old guys from the UK that rap also. They're cold af too lol

@@jaydub2546 No, you're right. I looked them up after I wrote that comment and they're more so comedic than hard. "Bald mean and full of beans."

You low key need to send this guy fully down the pete & bas journey, ending with nine & dex too. I'm down to see that.

@RuppleberryJamz you could pick most of their tunes and rarely find a miss tbh. My personal recommendations are Golf, Longthorne Shotgun, Mr Worldwide. Nine and Dex only have a handful of tunes out right now.
