Such an under appreciated band. They have many songs I’m sure you would enjoy. I’m partial to this whole album.

Claudiop Sanchez is the vocalist/guitarist of the group. he aslo writes all the songs based off a series of comic books and novels he's written called The Amory Wars.

Any person who appreciates rock would just tell you to listen to the whole album, because every single song on that album should have been on the radio at the time.

You want a jam session? Coheed and Cambria - The Final Cut (live) It's a two minute song and the performance ends with about ten minutes of jamming and solos.

Coheed and Cambria were pretty underrated in their time. This song is usually pretty well recognized in some circles but my experience has been a lot of people don't know whose song it is unless they REALLY like C&C.

All of coheed's music has a dual meaning. What it means in the real world, and what it means in the comic series that the lead singer writes. This album was written while they were going through a hard break up. "You seem to take premise to all of these songs" is referring to his now wife, then girlfriend, Chondra. Within the context of the story, it refers to the main character's girlfriend. "now get in the ground" etc. is because the character is fantasizing about taking vengeance on his girlfriend after he learns she has cheated on him.

Saw them from winning free tickets on the radio and never really had a strong feeling either way about Coheed but I knew the majority of the songs they played. One of the best concerts I’ve ever been too, the crowd singing along was unlike any show I’ve been to, and I’ve been to and played a ton of shows. I left the show and binged Coheed for like 10 months. Incredible band.

Listen to the song “In Keeping Secrets of Silent Earth: 3”, it’s another absolute smoking masterpiece. I know some of their material if not most is based on comic book series they’ve created themselves, so it can be cryptic unless you’re familiar with their stuff

The double guitar is awesome it’s like 3 guitars in one, usually the bottom one is the normal 6 strings and the top one is 12 strings, so you can have the strings tuned in different chords and you can have all kinds of crazy combinations of chords in the same song

Coheed is one of my all time favorite bands. Claudio is a master of his craft. The lyrics all tell part of a story, much of which has been put into comic book form. Great songs "In Keeping Secrets of Silent Earth 3" song is great, but so is that album. Newer stuff, "Queen of the Dark" and "Liars Club is a great one to get a bit different feel for them. They also did a fun Sequel song to "Jessie's Girl."

In the context of the story, the third album (which this is the third track off of), is about the writer of the overall story being conflicted with the real world situation of his lover cheating on him, and how that will affect the outcome of his story, and this point in the album is the beginning of said realization.

Someone mentioned how Coheed is one of those bands you either get or you don’t. If you appreciate the musicianship they are a joy.❤ Normally pausing a song to commentate throws off the vibe but you do it appropriately.

There's a lot of great Coheed music, although what they do will widely vary, they're wildly talented. Putting aside things you've currently got reactions for, you might enjoy some of the harder tracks of their later albums - "Domino the Destitute" off Afterman:Ascension, for example, or "The Dark Sentencer" off Vaxis I: Unheavenly Creatures, for example.

Mr. Boyd, this band is amaz8ng af, and they are in the progressive rock, or prog rock genre. There is a rabbit h9le of Claudio sanchez's immense talent. Check out his Amory wars graphic novels which coincide with the oconcept albums they recorded that make up the Amory wars. You are welcome sir, enjoy :)
