good guess 1989 No4 of bill board charts, wow, back to highschool for me. This song tells the story of Ricky, a poor, 18-year-old who gets drunk and accidentally kills someone with his gun, earning him a life sentence in jail. Skid Row guitarist Dave "Snake" Sabo wrote it after reading in a local newspaper about an 18-year-old boy who shot his friend by accident.

Once again random live version, guitar and mic distortion either do studio or official video to do the music justice heed your viewers advice please. 4.1 million views for the weak video version compared to 48 million views for studio, official version. You appreciate the vibrato of his voice but you are missing all that his voice has to offer. Sebastian Bach sings with so much power that he actually sang "his guts out" (he developed an abdominal hernia from singing)

By far, Wasted Time.... please do the official music video. The video is hauntingly beautiful and heartbreaking. Lead singer Sebastian Bach's vocals are otherworldly on this track. He sings it with his entire soul, blood, sweat, and tears left on the floor.

Skid Row had some amazing stuff. Their Album 'Slave to the Grind', from the 90's, has several tracks that were well-loved. The title track being one of them. Just as good, but faster, harder, more aggressive. Quicksand Jesus is simply amazing. In a Darkened Room is a beautiful song. None of their songs are about happy things.

I loved Skid Row in the 90s. I still really like their music from back than. Sebastian had an amazing voice and was a beautiful man. I'm trying to ignore that nowadays he still has a good voice but is a humorless metal boomer (see his embarrassing beef with Ronnie Radke). But I guess that doesn't take away from him being a great singer.

Sebastian was beautiful and such a great voice. We all get older and he is still a favorite. Saw them live in those days, ripped his pants up his crack, showed us, kept singing. Those were the days….
