I guess I am rude; I would rather hear the original artist and still lead singer to Steelheart sing this song; his name is Miljenko Matijevic! I hear the cracks in Den's voice and I can't believe how many people can't hear it. I hear when he goes off key....I know English is not his original language; but I can't take it. My brothers are rockers and are about to release their 2nd album in 2 years time and they are in their early 60s and when they are off key in practice I tell them about it. They started at 19 and 20 and my cousin was only 15! I give them heck and I am such a music critic.and I can say that because my family has had 5 bands come from it! One rock group (2 of my 7 brothers plus one of my cousins). Both Mom and Dad had their own Country music bands, my 16-year old niece just cut her first solo album, and my 2nd cousin is a very well-known Grammy-winning country female singer....so I know and hear talent! Den needs some critiquing in his vocals because no one wants to seem to hear when he goes off key. I have been at 2 Journey concerts and one Reba McEntire concert where I listened intently to see if they would go off key...uh no, not during their whole concert. I have been to a lot more concerts, but those were the ones I was wanting to see if they could really sing as could live as they sang on their albums! I am not a jerk, I do hear things that most humans cant hear because i had to have implants put into my face and skull on both sides that the metal lets me hears things people can't believe because the two upper implants are against my skull and right by my ear drums. I heard a Civil Defense Alarm go off 5 miles away from my house. Heard it, had to wake my husband and tell him, we might be under attack because it was very close to 9/11! Turns out the city didn't warn the people of the test at 5 a.m., and the fact I could hear it from that far away and after being asleep...well, let's just say that is why I hear all the mistakes when someone is singing and it upsets some people because of course no one sings perfectly....but man, Den really messed up quite a bit and yet no one wants to say anything about it. Critiquing someone is not being mean, it is meant to help them hone their skills. This is my opinion, you don't have to like it, but I heard the mistakes and I hope Den does keep going but also listens when people say they hear cracks in his voice or when he goes off key so much!

How could you even think of comparing your family to this Indonesian manual labourer who did not have any form of training whatsoever and is just singing karaoke for the fun of it to release tension after a hard day's work for a few dollars? Well, that's what DenDen Gonzales was at the time this video was recorded in 2014. He did not even think of posting it on youtube. Thus the too casual attire and shanty living room of his. Now, 8 years later, it would be fair to criticise him because he has finally turned professional. And from your publicity-seeking writing, your familay can be considered professionals. It took him and his 9 surviving siblings and both parents working everyday for years for them to buy their own farm! So, it doesn't matter where you come from and believe me shanties are shanties; no matter in the world you live! No one in my family was born even into even middle class; it was severe poverty on both sides! So, that part of your point is moot. I get it, English is not Den's first language...I said that! My family; both biological parents were famous; when my stepdad died, my mom quit singing professionally because she was the sole caretaker of 7 kids! My brothers do rock and I get on their butts when they sing off key...mentioned that too! Sorry, you got butt-hurt that a poor Native American and White mixed family on both sides could pull themselves up by the bootstraps and do something! That is not just in other countries; but in America we celebrate that! I don't know where you live and I don't care. Because unless Den has refined his vocals and worked on tone; which he could have by now, you are too invested in making sure everyone has the same point of view as you...sorry, that isn't how music works and that is not how I work. I call it how I hear it and you should continue to call it how you hear it

He went flat on, "Come back..." and then he sounded like between a horrible Axl Rose impression (which let's get real, Axl Rose is great) and a cat screeching. You don't have to like what i write, but I am just stating my honest opinion. There would be no reason for me to be mean just to be mean. Glad you could enjoy him and that is what counts to you and the others that do like his singing. And I have no clue why he got disqualified on 2021 The Voice Bulgaria because I don't understand the language for the reason they gave for his disqualification.
