Massive kudos to you for getting this reaction out literally several hours after it dropped for the first time! It's an odd one for me. His first FITB was faster, more raw, and got the blood going, but this one is awesome in a different way. He's shown more technical ability, his lyrics more crafted, and three whole minutes straight of barring on the same rhyme is just sublime. I wouldn't say either one is better in itself; more that, depending on what you want to hear at the time, either one is stronger in different aspects.

Totally agree. You're not saying it's not good, but compared to even his freestyle stuff from 13' it's not quite there. It does go more with the general feel of the Stay Sane album imo. He's tried a different style and it's worked for him, but it's not brought in the extra new fans I think he thought it would, cos as much as it's different, it's also definitely something only his older fans would appreciate - provided they appreciate change and don't expect him to do his doubletime the whole album. Ironically similar to Eminem in that everyone just expects the stupid speed the whole time so when he changed things up, everyone hated it.

@@JoDyMa Yeah agree it's more of a vibe like the Stay sane album which I have been listening too alot recently, it's weird I can listen to all of the Stay sane album whereas some of his previous albums there are some absolute bangers and some of my fav tunes ever from any artist but there are also some which I generally skip. Ocean is one of them artists for me where I get a little bit excited when something new is released another would be Chase and status can't name many more currently out now
