I'm so blessed when i bumped into this song cover by Queen Morissette 3 years ago. Earlier that day i had an accident, i fell on top of a ladder and hurt my back. I was in pain and coulnt sleep all night. My only consolation is that song. I was bedridden for two weeks and though i would not be able to getup from my bed. Every day i listen to the song which in turn gave me the will and eventually the strength to rise and walk again.

Hope is definitely the message here. The way Morissette sang this song with such raw emotions is exactly the way the song should be sung. The original by Andre Day was done the same. Obviously the arrangement here was different to the original but both performances deserves standing ovation. This performance by Morissette was PERFECT!! She could sing this song 1000 times over but IMO she will never replicate this amazing performance again. JUST PERFECT!! Enjoyed your reaction with your friend. You are not commenting on her cover, so you need to focus on what she did ! She brings the emotion because of her master vocal, vocal expantion and rare abilities, dynamics, FYI, she was sick while singing this , she is sitting, live and editing or real oroduction. This cover was pulled by KZbin at one time because of the original artist raised a stink because Mori blew away the oroginal artist verson. After a backlash from KZbin followers of Morissette KZbin re-posted it and we are seeing views rise evn more, everyday. 👍👍🎶🎶
